I don't trust Nick one bit. People you've never met before who know who you are and tell you exactly what you think you needed to hear are mega creepy.

Do carry on, though. There are quite a few directions this could go in, some of which very interesting.

7730822 Sure. Here's some wild theories on who Nick could be:

-A forgotten Equestrian collegue who was hurt by Sunset before she was banished, and sought her out seeking to emotionally ruin her as revenge,

-A government/military/megacorp employee investigating the school's recent magical phenomena, with the intent to turn Sunset into a superweapon,

-A member of a secret doomsday cult that worships Rainbow Dash and was at the school to spy on her, but legitimately met Sunset by accident and happens to like her,

-Chrysalis.

Where could you go with any one of those? It could be a crazy swashbuckling adventure through the upper echelons of secret government facilities! It could be an intense emotional drama capped with a brutal brawl with the powers of eldritch magic! It could be a challenge of balancing dual citizenship, as Sunset tries to be a hero to two worlds at once!

Of course, it could also be a good old hurt/comfort with a duplicitous OC and a Sunset ship of your choice. See what I mean about the possibilities, though?
