Celestia here is profoundly dumb. And don't Equestrian cities like Manehattan have their own Police Force? Vinyl Discs are also part of Equestrian Technology so concluding that Blu-Ray Disks are something like that wouldn't have been that much of a stretch.
Wouldn't Celestia worry about her country and her family first once she realizes that she is stuck in another world? You know, let the possible consequences of her being gone really start to sink in before she starts crying.
Also, as a sorceress with centuries of experience, wouldn't she know about the existence of other worlds, at least in theory?
