That was wonderful. I always feel bad for Flash, yeah he didn't get much in character development, but he's not a bad guy. And he's not trying to be the "nice friend" to get close to the pretty girls. I don't really understand the hate. And I am even more baffled at the acceptance of Timber! That dude is legit creepy. Like take the pick up lines he's used and just change the setting from a summer camp, to like a bar. "I guess I've found the best bar in town.... cause you're here." Ugh! And on the subject of summer camp setting. Anyone that works as a councilor at a sleep away camp needs to be in their 20s. I doubt Sco-Twi is over 17.
8065065 I wondered that myself. This would make Timber a pedophile and I don't see why Sunset didn't discourage their courtship. Maybe things are different in Equestria but having lived here for so many years she'd have to know that Timber's fixation with Twilight is not only unhealthy, but illegal.
I think Flash gets all the hate because of how poorly he's written. He's just there to serve as a "hot crush" trope instead of having a developed backstory. I don't much care for him, but I don't think he deserves the status as most despised pony/human.

The more i think on it, the more i like stories like this. i also like the idea of Derpy and Flash a good deal. but BlueColton, she was WONDERFUL here. so adorable. the outfit alone caught one of my minds eyes.
