Winter_Solstice

"My age is as a lusty Winter, Frosty but Kindly..." --- William Shakespeare

T

A young man finds a book on transdimensional travel and sees it as his ticket to fulfill his fantasy.

Unfortunately, the reality is far different from his expectations.

This started out as a little one-shot I've had sitting in my docs for awhile. It's a writing exercise that follows the prompt, "Your character gets dropped into his/her fantasy world. What happens next?" But then as has happened before, the story took on a life of its own.

Some characters portrayed are from GaPJaxie's Actingverse , and are used with his gracious permission. I highly recommend reading the stories in the series, beginning with Dressing Room.

Well, if it is like the movie delirious(the one with Jon Candy) then you can write your way out. Depends upon if you are more real than where you are.

Freeing Luna would be an interesting long term goal.

Be glad you can read // speak. Things could be far worse for you.

Don't overestimate your importance. You might find help in low places much easier than high.

Consider music. While you might not have the in-depth knowledge of anything here to recreate it there, you might know enough songs to be able to make a starting amount of bits.

Asking to see a map is a better move than asking about a specific town. It reveals less, but provides the same if not more information.

interesting consept for a story you have here.

i like to see how this story plays out :D

This is an interesting idea you have here. I could see this being interesting for a few more chapters, barring any plot twists, of course.

This is a really cool way to approach a Human in Equestria fanfic, looking forward to more!
