AU because the girl's apology as Gabby Gums didn't work for some reason. They're confused and hungry and for various reasons they decide to go to the Everfree Forest. But the Forest is dangerous and unpredictable, and just when you think everything is safe, and you might even have found the answer to all of your dreams, that's when the real danger starts.

Here's a song that an adult male OC pony character could sing to the cutie mark crusaders whom takes care of them helps them thought there depression and listens to them and helps them understand that while there choice to print the bad stories in the papers was wrong it was wrong for the towns people to blame the crusaders when they wanted those stories printed and in a ways use his song to show he is willing to listen and hear their side of the story and is able to teach the cutie mark crusaders a new lesson one that helps overcome the weight of the world and hate push onto to them that even if the cutie mare crusaders don't go back to there home and families (which be the right thing to do) they can find there destiny's beyond there home and earn there cutie marks elsewhere.

I made this up and got the idea of this from the song "Don't Give Up by Josh Groban" and I came up of the idea of a character who is a singer himself and after he finds them by chance he helps the cutie mark crusader with his song and though there depression and hurt so if you need an idea I think this might help cause to me the song would fit this story well as the cutie mark crusaders want to be heard but no one listens accept a male stranger OC pony singer who is willing to hear what really happen and helps shed the light on this tale.
