Well, that was certainly interesting. Brings to mind a number of philosophical implications, mostly concerning Harmony. I like the way you portrayed them. I guess now, all I want to see is how the story continues.

When I was writing Harmony did seem to turn into the antagonist. A thousand years was a heavy punishment for the one who committed the crime never mind someone who chose to take their punishment.
I'd be super interested to hear any philosophical thoughts you have.
Also there is now a sequel!

It jumps forward a thousand years to the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration and the long term consequences of what happened here.

Yeah I'd seen a lot of people switching the princesses around but a lot of the time it felt like they changed a lot of the history and character to pull it off.
And the more I thought about it the more I was intrigued by a universe where a single act could change everything.
Ready and Waiting to fall sets the scene for this, filling in the blanks of how and why NMM happened but in the end Celestia with that one action changed the course of history,
Whether for better or worse however I guess we have to wait and see.
