I think Vanguards are exclusive to the 9th Militia fleet. Considering that's where most of them came from. I'm sure there's a Vanguard within this ship. But I'm pretty sure the Militia keeps its mainly for its own forces. So the 6-4 can't really get one.

also, I really hope that you don't make the Titans on the same level as the Golems. Humanity should wreck them, because they will not be as tough because there never was anything with as much destructive power on the planet before. The 6-4 are an elite group of Pilots that often work for hire under the Militia. They've got hearts of gold, but hey, those things cost a lot. They're good-natured mercenaries. They're introduced in that mission wherein you invade an IMC ship mid-flight. They're the guys that help you get to the bridge.
