7660720 I talked it over with an FoE writing group I'm in...based in its audio log structure it will likely be no longer than 25 logs and no fewer than 15. Screwloose's recorder only has so much memory and without more memory or a way to store the existing data so it can be safely over written it can't be too long. However if I work in a way to get her more recording memory it could end up longer.
A fic written like an audio log? Sign me up.

7669863 If you've read the Ditzy Doo Chronicles then you know what happens to Gizmo. However, Screwloose is not in that story. I chose to include the canon of that story and the character of Gizmo because that story also begins on the onset of the apocalypse and briefly they are in Ponyville. After the next chapter or so, the stories will go their operate ways. I don't even think Screwy will be around long enough to meet Ditzy or May following their trip to Manehatten. Not saying she dies, I'm saying her travels take her elsewhere.
I find this story rather enjoyable, and I like the style you're writing in, a nice change.

Rape can probably be considered as a right on par with giving your foal a shotgun for their birthday and making a religion dedicated to curry and calling it the Chicken Masala Church of Curry.
7675512 here is the scary part. The recording of the rape (the reasoning as to why it was recorded to be revealed later) was still actually from a time just before the war...showing ponies were vile even before the world was blown to hell.

7675937 Point is, the world was screwed since dawn. And it isn't all just speculations either. With government creating that much tension within the country and ponies becoming more fearful, I'm not surprised this sort of behavior is seen. The war, the ministries and the stories cause ponies to panic and do terrible things. This sort of environment can cause these sorts of crimes and abuse to become more common especially in more poorer areas of the country or parts that are greatly affected. So in a nutshell, we can only blame the citizens and government for losing control of themselves and turning a bad situation to a worse situation.

Ghoulification is a hair dropping experience
7679364 she knows something has changed within her, but she is still shocked about her hair falling out.
If that's the case that she has been killed and reanimated from the radiation, she will only have one year to live assuming that is how long it takes a pony to decompose. I'm not entirely sure if Fallout ghouls have a working digestive, respiratory or circulatory system, but assuming they don't will mean that her life will span to at least one year, two if she is really lucky. But now that I think about it, I'm surprised she is still conscious because usually a brain would around three minutes before passing out I think
Then again, I'm not entirely sure how these ghouls work exactly, whether they are just rotting corpses or breathing walking remains.
7679771 She's a ghoul, not a zombie. The radiation mutated her, she never actually died. That being said ghouls are a strange topic since they are outside realistic scientific analysis.
7679771 they have a mutation brought on my radiation. They no longer need to eat or sleep (but still can). Their coat and mane fall out and their skin begins to rot because of wide spread necrosis. Due to said necrosis, their voice become s very scratchy as their vocal chords rot. Though they are now immune to radiation and are in fact healed by it. They are also gifted with unnaturally long lives. As long as they are near radiation their aging process pretty much halts.

7679933 Okay they still decompose because of there dead like properties, the only working system being the nervous system (because why not) and the brain has lost the need to sleep. However there is still something that bugs me, ghouls can't really eat because well, organ failure, that means where does she get her energy from. I doubt it'd be from the radiation itself unless that's another on of their perks. But then there is the healing part. So the radiation allows for mitosis to occur? So the radiation has the ability to cause cell duplication despite the fact all most body cells are capable of doing on their own?
Maybe I am taking this too seriously, but I am quite fascinated. And plus, it is fun talking about science :P
7680099 Ghouls are a very confusing subject. Their internal organs still work. They can eat and it will digest. They can sleep, but don't need to. Here is both the Fallout lore on ghouls and the Fallout: Equestria lore on ghouls for you to read for a better explanation.

7695481 Bedside Manner became a Canterlot Ghoul. They are like regular ghouls in every way, but they can resurrect after being killed. The only way to keep one down is to behead it or disintegrate it. Screwy inadvertently did the former with an axe. Bedside is gone for good.
