By the way, all of the items on Zecora's workbench (aside from the voodoo doll) are shout-outs to inflation scenes from other stories/cartoons that I liked. So the plate of cookies are a reference to "Pinkie's Ballooning Aspiration", and the pill bottles are nods to "Use Only as Directed" and "The Prodigiously Pregnant Pinkie Pie".

Have you read Pablote's stories? He's got more focus on flattening and other forms of cartoon slapstick. His stuff's on FA and DA rather than Fimfic.
8078684 yeah but he only has two flattening stories, and while they are really good, their isn't much of it on deviantart/FA/ or Fimfiction.
8157730 Well, several of Pablote's stories are about cartoon slapstick in general, so there's flattening mixed in with a bunch of other fetishy gags. Particularly, all of his FIM stories have at least one flattening scene: Sombra's Game, The Sun and Moon Are Harsh Mistresses, and Breathers for Applejack (specifically the Rarity chapter).
It's like Inception, if Inception were about pony fetish porn and absurdist humor. Ok actually it's nothing like Inception at all.

I've read everything you've written on this site (why my computer didn't alert me on these most recent two chapters is beyond me), and I will say that, in my opinion, this is the single-greatest chapter you've written. It's excellent in every way I can imagine. Well done!

Glad you like it! If you don’t mind: why do you think this chapter’s the best? With how close I am to my own works, I’m no good at judging them objectively.
Maybe it's my demented idea of her becoming as large as she could possibly get, but
for my pride's sakeI don't think that's all. The constant rhyming that went on in this chapter, all in Spike's dialogue, made some of the more awkward bits much clearer; it all fit nicely. It was all tantalizing, especially with his growth throughout. All efforts at stopping were futile, as everything she did only added to it; I like how you use props in your stories, and this one's using of everything around her, as well as the detail of her spinning around, was very nice. I think combining the two sources of smoke, and their kissing afterwards, made it all the more engaging. I think it was just the way you dealt with the dragon magic, and how volatile it seemed, that really drew me in.I should mention that you've used every other prop very nicely in the rest of your stories; this one just appealed to me the most so far. I think I should say that this, to me, is subjectively the best, my favorite, as it were. I am also a huge sucker for this particular phrase, and others like it:
That sort of thing really gets me going.
Anywho, that's what I can offer. I should mention that you, in comparison to other writers I know, use props in your growth incredibly well, and I appreciate the effort you put into all of it. Keep it up (pleeeeeeeease)!

There is no Dark tag on this one. Twilight is a bit scared, but the effect for the reader is supposed to be more silly than scary. As for the Sex tag, this is focused on fetishy bits rather than on actual sex, but mod policy requires me to add that tag anyway. Every chapter is basically an extended version of Twilight and Zecora reenacting this scene...

About everypony else’s dreams, to be honest, I’m working from the idea that there’s no external or supernatural cause for Twilight’s dream here. She has a fetish that she’s been in denial about for a bit, and she’s got some other emotional baggage, and that’s what caused her subconscious to create these bizarre scenarios. So all of her friends are having perfectly normal dreams tonight. And if any of those are erotic dreams, they probably don’t include inflation, because Twi’s friends probably all have different tastes and kinks. But, you know, Death Of The Author. Nothing in here ever touches on the other five ponies’ dreams, so you can imagine they’re whatever you like.
