Coal has just moved his store, a strange place he named Lender’s, away from a city too busy for his tastes. This village has to have maybe a quarter of Manehattan’s population, surely the village of Ponyville will be a bit calmer, right?

I've rewritten the first chapter, and I'll be continuing this story for a bit while I take a break from The Days Passed. Not sure where I want this one to go, but I've been reading Tales from the Gas Station by Jack Townsend and I'm feeling motivated. Gonna give this at least another chapter, maybe two, before switching back over to Days. Le'see what happens, yeah?

An interesting start, albeit a confusing one. I wasn't a fan of the writing style of the first section focused solely on Coal. The last two paragraphs seem to suggest something with time travel, but aside from that it's hard to see what the story is going to be or be about. No real hook yet, but I intend to continue reading.

I'm getting the feeling this is going to be 2deep4me.
