Just a thought: when was that a thing? I've been a frequent visitor to this site for around two years, and I've never heard of a Spoiler tag for comments.
Don't get me wrong, you guys are doing fine, and I don't mind the delete.
But, is that a new thing? And isn't that exactly why you don't read the comments before the story? Or am I the only one who doesn't do that?
I'm not trying to be snarky, or rude. These are genuine questions.

The spoiler option existed when I joined, and I haven't known Fimfiction without it. You could probably google it or sift through the blogs of knighty to figure out when it was implemented. As for reading the comments before the story, some people do that for several reasons, so spoiler tagging comments is just a common courtesy for those people who read the comments first. Always happy to help!

I Never really thought about it. I guess I just thought it a pointless pursuit, as you could see what people thought/liked about it by looking at the tags and/or upvote section, as well as the number of views. I just don't get it, since I've never minded seeing spoilers whenever I read the comments first (or at all): always seemed like a no-brainer to me, I knew what I was going into. But... eh, that might just be me.
