As for Sundowner the only reason I haven't read it yet is that I'm not usualy a huge fan of Equestria girls stories and won't unfairly go into reading one until I'm in the mood for it. It will get read, up voted, and prob faved but in the future.

This was amazingly well written. The pacing, the dialog, and the language used was all above reproach. This story felt, for lack of a better term, genuine. Every part of this story felt like real sex between two people who knew each other very well and loved each other very deeply, there was real, honest emotion in it, and I'll be god-damned if it wasn't hot.
I'm honestly surprised that you haven't written something like this earlier considering that you're one of the few authors on this site that write genuinely likable and believable characters, which is the most important part of pornographic reading material.

Sundowner is a really well written story. It shares many of the same strengths that Twiguard has, namely the amazing characterization and the stellar pacing that KingofBeggars does so well. Believe me, if you like Twiguard you will enjoy Sundowner.
Flirting, teasing, mutually enjoyable antagonism. This feels exactly like an epilogue to Rise. Your pacing and fluidity of character action/development are superb as always.

I hadn't actually thought of that ship, but now that you've mentioned it, I absolutely approve of it.
But I don't know that it'll be the one that happens. Is the mirror even in the Crystal Empire right now? Cause if it isn't, then that rules her out completely, at least in terms of being part of the second pairing for this story. And even if it is, and even if Sunset shows up during the wedding celebration, it would be kind of odd for her to just immediately jump in bed with Shining Armor given her personality (and his, for that matter).

Okay that was most certainly not all sex as advertised... But I take considerable solace in the fact that it was better than all sex. It was funny, cute, romantic... and then sex. And then those things again. Also those things during. Nice work.
I really liked the parallels in their behavior (and I find 'sun damnit!' to be funny for various reasons) and look forward to whatever the future installment here may be. I have no investment in Spike/Rarity, even with their ages being roughly the same in this continuity I just don't care for that ship; they're better off with Lyra/Ditzy. It would still be entertaining in the hands that wrote this, but I will admit I hope to be surprised by some other pairing. ...It just occurred to me that nothing requires it to be a pairing; two isn't a required number here, really... Ah... I think I'll just head out and await developments with no further speculation.

Well, it definitely depends on how much they've been drinking...
I love that you wrote clop after saying so many times that you wouldn't. It was a very engaging story that just happened to have a lot of clop in it.
This was some of the most realistic sex I've read and it involved two ponies. The big thing is that they act like a couple, or at least the way a couple does in my experience, and they're such an endearing couple.
Now to Sundowner, which is the name of a very popular stripclub where I grew up. No relation I assume.
I expected many things.

I was a bit... Turned off by the anal. I don't like butt stuff.
I wasn't expecting clop, but with all that dialogue, it didn't really detract from the story; it's more like a reasonable thing for them to be doing in their wedding night while they have an important-and-also-lovey-dovey conversation.
I'm looking forward to a continuation, and I'm… not so much calling as kinda hoping that the other big relationship ends up being Spitfire/Basenji (with maybe a side of FlutterArmor?)
Also, while it was a little ambiguous at the end of Rising, I see that here you've shown that, as far as the crystal ponies are concerned, Twilight is the ruler and Cadence the consort, no matter what the connection to the Crystal Heart says. I look forward to finding out if that has any political relevance. Also, how long it takes for the implications to dawn on Twilight, who so far seems to think it's just a bit of hero worship combined with her status as consort.
There's just one thing missing:
Twilight's reply really needed to be something along the lines of, "If I hadn't, this would've been a crappy wedding night."
