I have read no other fanfictions of this kind not to get influenced, and made up a complete universe, taking a bit of inspiration in the "Trigun" anime and some movies I like, but most of the elements are straight from my imagination.

The old-ish style speech is good but it seems a bit forced upon the characters with a few missing words here and there, though nothing major is that it seems there are a few punctuation errors scattered throughout the story.
The reason I say this is that, I have a particular reading style to pick out certain forced dialogues and I remained in monotone for a good three paragraphs of them talking, and even paused once in the middle of a sentence!
But it's good for a first fic and I look forward to reading more of this world.

I feel a little bad for Double Diamond. I think it was a little more interesting then AJ and Caramel, but I have very biased opinion when it come to my favorite Apple horse. 
I always like the inclusion of Big Mac character in a dark setting and see how he reacts to it.

Dagon'Hai are quantum mages that excel in brutal teleportation and confusion tactics by speeding up time or slowing it down and appearing before, around, and behind the target they wish to attack or toy with.
Supposedly they are followers of Chaos and all that entails.
Given the gift of chaotic powers by insanity and such, are still able to maintain a stable living form due to self inflicted trauma and limited use of the powers they wield, well, for the more stable of the Dagon'Hai anyways.
Lolith, the spider goddess of the drow hates the Dagon'Hai as they represent a instability and a severe threat to continued worship and most often has called them "The greatest mistakes the filthy chattle may aspire to be"

'Portents' is such a great word. Rarely ever see it used.
Big Mac and Pinkie are actually one of favorite pairings. Granted it sounds like it is only temporary (which is too bad they are actually very good together). I hope to see more of them as it may be interesting.
Also you might want to consider putting more space between the scenes or otherwise make it clear that it is a totally new scene with new characters. I kept thinking it was Pinkie and Mac talking and was thinking how it made no sense what with all the Dash references because there was no space or clear way of knowing it was a new scene.

Pinkie is probably the most interesting character in this story at least to me. Big Macintosh is a good foil for her and together they bring up a lot of great interpersonal tension to the story. Keep it up.

It's been mixed with fantasy for awhile actually and are often times the primordial versions of "Planeswalkers" IE; being capable of dimensional phasing (AKA) "Ancient Aliens".
