As far as timeline goes, It's set a few hundred years in the future. A lot of lore will be explained as the story progresses ^.^
Interesting start, I like the setting, makes me want to find out more about what happened and I like the main character, though the other villagers can go eat a schweinestucker.

This chapter was hilarious, reminds me a bit of my playthrough of modded Fallout 3 with nudist perks.
I like the characters, they're quite likeable (if stupid in case of Boomstick) and different from one another. I imagine Sanguine's attitude started with being excluded from the others by being forbidden to use magic, she then started going against other tribe rules.
Welp, that's going to be an interesting journey.

I just realised that I haven't once mentioned the fact that they have tails for four chapters x-x
For their anthro-ness, they have a pony head and mane, a tail, mostly human body until the thighs where it shifts into a more pony-esque leg ending in hooves.
Their bodies are covered in a thin fur coat that becomes thicker during winter as well.

This a pretty decent fic. Pacing is fine, character development seems great as well and unlike other fics that I will not name, I understand fully in what is going.
Though I did notice a few grammatical errors but they were barely noticeable.
I might just track the fic, after reading the second chapter of course.

I was pretty much told to "Go here, read this." But I'll admit, this story had me pleasantly surprised. Well written with a sense of humor I can appreciate. A few minor nitpicks here and there but nothing remotely worth mentioning. I do usually tend to avoid stories with the anthro tag. Not that I have anything against anthro mind you, it's simply that I prefer my ponies as actual ponies ^_^ But anyway, This story was quite amusing so far and I'll be adding it to my follow list.
Also I can't help but imagine Boomstick and Tenna to look a little like good ol' Thirty Thirty here XD

so, the dogs have been infiltrated. its also clear that whatever changelings do in this world is probably a lot worse than just steal your love. looking forward to seeing where this goes. Also... Hi-Ex shells? * evil cackling* I like the way those two operate. Now all we need for a complete party is some Incendiary rounds

This reminds me a lot of the fantasy novels I read as a kid, as well as a Paper Mario style story I once read. Can't really say much as it is just the start, but clearly somepony is being set up. Outcasts are never liked all that much. Normally I would read the rest as there are quite a few chapters, but it's quite frustrating with my memory to remember what I read between updates.
Don't normally go for Mature Dark, Anthro, Sex or Gore tags, but this story has intrigued me. Plus I am a hypocrite when it comes to mature anthro... Guess it was too sexually violent for a Teen huh
Don't like the fact that my favorite little Pegasi seem to be the enemies of the Dragon Tribe. I happen to have a thing for Pegasi, I don't know why... Hopefully, this can improve past casual tribal racism.
I will track this and pick this up again once it is complete so I don't have to do too much remembering to do between chapters. I can remember this chapter at least.
One thing:
Always good to spite your mother's issues with lying about your day, with brutal honesty in the hopes to teach her not to ask you silly questions. My mother repeats herself over and over with her questions so I have taken to saying no and the opposite of what she wants to hear, just to train her not to do it when she knows the Celestia damned answer already!
