But what if it's MythrilMoth?!

Very peculiar story. If you want to make another cryptid story, I think you'd do fine.

I must say, I'm impressed with this short piece. I can definitely see an entity like a Mothman roaming the world of Equestria, a land crawling with mythical and extraordinary creatures. I think the horror and eerie elements were well-written and gave the Mothman a feeling of awe and dread at the same time.

The only gripe I can think of, is that the story felt a little too short and I wish that it had more to it. But, it was short and I sweet, and I can't exactly fault it for being that. Mostly a nitpick, but it was a good short, horror piece.

7529705 Then we ask for an autograph!

7529730 Thanks! Perhaps I'll do one with the Chupacabra...

7529745 I was a bit concerned with the length, but I just couldn't think of a way to continue as I wanted an ambiguous ending. That said, thank you so much for the kind words! I'm very happy that you liked it!

7529874 It's understandable from a creative standpoint. It's no problem at all, I love crypitd stories and I think they can fit wonderfully in MLP. In a world of talking, magical ponies, reality-warping gods, and shapeshifting bugs, there's bound to be something mysterious, undiscovered, and potentially terrifying out there. Maybe I'll write a crypitd-centered story of my own one day. You've inspired me. :pinkiecrazy:

Mothman is no more!

He, uhm... had a lil run-in with my windshield last week. :twilightsheepish:

So many bug guts...

Outside, however, a creature stood at the edge of the forest. It looked up at Arlene's home and spread its wings before it flew towards the house.

Then it laid a ton of eggs in her brain. :fluttershbad:

7530836 Did you bury the body?

7530892 It was kinda hard cuz it splattered all over the car. It took 3 days to get all of it off. :pinkiesick:

do one with the chupacabra

Bleh, that guy? He's a total wuss. Just shoot a gun and he's gone like the wind.

What you really want to do is an Oni. Those things are terrifying!

Was it this moth?

7533466 BAHAHAHA! :rainbowlaugh: Oh, that was hysterical!

I certainly hope it was. :rainbowlaugh:

7533534 What do you mean, you hope it was? IT'S YOUR STORY! BWA HA HA HA HA!

7533542 .... damn, I didn't even think about that. I was too busy laughing.

Hmmm... I'm not telling.

7533552 This story isn't stolen, is it?

7533560 For a split second I was you worded your comment as the 'n' word people use for black people but with 'tive' on the end, so I nearly branded you a racist. XD

I just saw a comment like that before on YouTube earlier so it just stuck in my mind.

I like you. You shall receive the dance of friendship, in the form of this video I did three years ago.

Damn. Even today I look sexy in those goggles.

Now if I could find a woman to appreciate them...sigh...

So there's a moth in this story and stuff if you didn't know.

I liked this even thou I'm scared of moth's:scootangel:

When you use "passed" instead of "past", it kills all suspense.

As for the mothman, here's a better photo: http://www.jeremyriad.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/transforming-owl.jpg

7540558 I greatly appreciate you pointing out the errors!

Also, that picture is wonderful.
