This story is a sequel to The Villain
After many years of neglect and mistreatment, a seed of hatred was born in the heart of a baby dragon. From that hatred, Spike attained the power of the Eclipse Dragon, but it is not enough to slake the rage that clings to his very soul. He desires the complete destruction of Equestria to make the ponies pay for what they have done to him. He will use everything in his power to see them suffer. It is up to Twilight and her friends to stop his plans from coming to fruition. And perhaps, they will reach out to the kind friend that they once knew.

I'm sorta disappointed with this turn of events. With Spike as a more justified villain I was looking forward to the reveal about the sisters and his father to the other ponies. Now it looks like we just have another basic villain without good motivation even if he/they are made up of other villians. Well here's looking forward to the next chapter.
I agree with HF Fury, it destroys Spike's development with this chaptee.
I liked it better when Spike was the villain, not a dumb mirror pool clone that took everything cool he had. Disappointed now.
This got interesting. While the mirror pool part Kind've marred spikes plans. It was an awesome set up to showcase that villainous people are selfish and narrow minded. Spike will either be his own undoing, or he will be his own destructor.
Ok first thing Celestia it wasn't your magic in the first place it is Spikes magic you kept it from him I am really hoping that there's a reason why Spike turned so evil so fast like maybe some dark magic from Sombras nightmare door is infecting him but it only turned him evil after Twilight kinda crushed his dream of being taught magic
And I'm hoping that cause I love villian spikes if they have a good reason to be a villian but even for me simply Twilight saying no to magic lessons is a bit of a stretch for him to wan't to kill everypony
But still great story
