Nathan is just your typical Cast Member working at the most magical place on Earth, the Disneyland Resort. Today however, he is working as a Tour Guide and the group he's been assigned is a very special group. According to his superiors, the Guests he will be showing around have never visited the park before and have only just recently heard about the Magic Kingdom. As a kingdom of magic, fantasy, and child-like wonder, it's clear to see why anypon-erm I mean anyone would want to visit. So come on and join us, as we visit the Happiest Place on Earth!

The story takes place at the Disneyland Resort in California, while My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic events take place right after Season 4.

8159030 They will be! This is just the beginning!

Very entertaining read!
Looking forward to the next chapter!

Working at Disneyland! That's my dream job!:twilightsmile:
As a Disneyland annual passholder, I know the park inside and out. If you need any suggestions for the story, let me know!

cutie mark crusaders storm troopers YEAH!

I wonder how everyone will react when they find out there is no actual magic in the Magic Kingdom...at least, as they know it.

Still, when you combine impressive pyrotechnics, jaw-dropping special effects and epic coordination, it certainly can look like magic.

"Oh that? Well that's the Haunted Mansion Spike, or Gracey Manor if you want it's official name. It's where all of our otherworldly spirits and sectors go to live out the rest of their afterlife. I know it looks pretty scary, but believe me when I say it's not. It's actually one of the funnest rides here at Disneyland! Besides, you don't have to ride it if you don't want to, okay?"

I remember when I first went on The Haunted Mansion...During the ride my mother kept yelling at me to open my eyes whenever I got scared. I was a sniveling mess after that.

Remember the Green and Cream Helicopters that had scheduled stops at the Magic Kingdom?

:pinkiehappy:

8189936 you mean 'close'? And my brother is terrified of that ride and Tower of Terror his name also happens to be Nathan:derpytongue2:

8190558 you said "open your eyes when you get scared" that makes no sense:derpyderp2:

8192410 My mother, like the employee in this story, deemed The Haunted Mansion not that scary (She had ridden it multiple times when she was a kid). And so she had me, a 5 year old at the time, face my fear of ghosts. And as I said, every time I closed my eyes and clung to her side, she would nudge me off of her and demand I open eyes and face my fears head on.

After that, I decided to hang around my Dad during our stay at Disneyland.

8192589 well I'm talking about Disney World and I'm not afraid of the ride my bro is:twilightsheepish:

Wow...... three years since the last update..... is this dead, or are you just busy?
Sorry if this seems rude, It's just been a while, that's all.

Edit: Also: Main Street USA- the "simple" walkway that one can easily get stuck in if you look at everything. The shops, the small café, the little phone booths, not to mention the Disneyland Railroad leading you to the Grand Canyon and the primeval world! Not to mention, if the street is clear enough, and the right song comes on, you could literally waltz down the street!

...... Yeah, I think I can see how you could be stuck.

Also, another question: are they in one of the Dream Suites? Are those still a thing?

Who these Guests were, Nathan had no clue.

All that he knows is that the group has booked the VIP Tour for seven days, and will be meeting him in front of the Mickey flowerbed.

Seven days? Wow. They'll be able to see everything. You can cover a lot of ground in just two days, if you put your mind to it. I should know. My family and I were annual pass holders for several years before they got too expensive to keep up. And we could only visit on weekends, and had to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure.

How long ago was this? Soarin' Over California I think was still around last time I was there.

Well, we already know where Scootaloo wants to go. Y'know, I get the feeling that Dash and the Crusaders would love Tom Sawyer's Island. Don't know why.

Speaking of which: I wonder if Fantazmic! would be Luna's favorite? Fluttershy would almost certainly enjoy the Winnie-the-Pooh Adventures, Twilight would love Innoventions (wait, that closed?!), Celestia would likely love the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Rainbow- The Forbidden Eye, Spike saw the Mansion, Pinkie would be all over Roger Rabbit, AJ would probably go for the Thunder Mountain Railroad, and I'm not sure where Rarity would go. Snow White?
