While on a secret mission against the Griffon Empire, Spitfire is separated from the rest of her squad. Alone in enemy territory with a jammed gun, Spitfire's chances of survival are slim. What happened next could only be described as Supernatural.
Written from Spitfire's point of view.
Inspired by the Sabaton song "Camouflage" from the album "The Last Stand."

7498140 I wish I had known about that before I wrote this, the lyrics are much easier to understand than the Sabaton version. Also, intro reminds me of "Sabaton- to hell and back."
A most awesome story. Thank you.
Great story. I like how it was short and sweet.

I like how it seems the ponies know the humans existed before they came around, even if they didn’t know what they looked like, because of the ghost soldier it makes me think of “Riding With Private Malone”.
Fun fact, for those who care:
This song is not a Sabaton original. I prefer their cover, but the song was originally written by Stan Ridgeway. Aside from the invulnerability and bullet-swatting that Camouflage does in Sabaton's cover, in Ridgeway's version, he also rips a palm tree out of the ground and uses it to beat Vietcong soldiers; which is a fantastic mental image, IMO.
As amazing as this was, Camouflage was supposed to come from the Vietnam war, hence a part of a lyric …hunting Charlie down. Charlie being a slang for the Viet Cong.
