Princess of the Sol, the high and mighty alicorn who once had the whole world beneath her hooves, is not a fool, but times had to come when she needed a break.

Seeing Celestia visualizing her feats and now in a huge area of endless(?) water, doing nothing but staring at the object that she always had power over.

No more pain, yet no more satisfaction, tumbles down her tiara.

I have no idea what just happened, but I like it.

Also, love the song. I'd recommend you put it at the top of the story so readers can listen to it while reading. You may or may not also like Isolate by Kadenza (a bit more house-y) and Lost in Las Vegas by Two Steps From Hell (a bit more DnB-y).

I'm going to put my first reaction to reading the story's description under spoilers, because I'm completely certain it doesn't work with the spirit of the story. Reveal at your own risk.

"This is Salt-Water Spring Of Drowned Not-Princess. Very tragic tale. One day, not-princess fall in and drown. Since then, anypony who falls into spring becomes not-princess -- you fell in! Why do they always fall in?"

That sure tasted acidic.

7833500 Ah, I'm not much of a fan when it comes to house music. I'm 95% a trance addict.

And thanks for both of your compliments! I hope you enjoyed it!

7833548 Ouch! I'm sorry did my description confuse some readers? I didn't mean it haha, I want people to get in touch with this story while trying to be as clear as possible.

7833617 Ah, what I had meant is that they're both trance and similar to the song in the AN, just that in relation to it they were more of a certain other genre. To be honest, I personally wouldn't think of the song you linked if you had just told me "trance" (not saying it's not a good song).

7834366 Well I'ma go listen to the songs you recommended and PM you if they're good or not.

Before I read the story, what is the Dark tag for ?

7835545 Well, let's just say that Celestia won't enjoy any positive moments throughout her time spent there. It's up to how you will interpret it.

7835681 Like I said, it's up to you to see for yourself.

This a very interesting story where Celestia starts to ask questions about herself and her decisions. I like how you twist her viewpoint into thinking she has been selfish and doesn't deserve to be an alicorn. I like the ending too. :twilightsheepish:.

7839723 Thank you, that was some ideal example of a feedback that I want (not saying that it has to be a "positive" opinion or anything)

Good read, interesting idea.
