Well done. I particularly enjoyed how Spike and Rarity helped her come to her conclusion. It's a nice way of showing how even romantic problems can be made clearer with good friends to listen and give advice.
It's a shame you don't have a more Spike and Rarity centric story for me to read to compliment this one

Good ending and story overall, I just feel like it was kinda rushed at the very end. Reading it, I thought Scootaloo was still a bit mad at RD, but as soon as she mentions where to go for the date, she's all smiles.
So I guess my only critique would be to just take a few more sentences to keep the rushed feeling away. It doesn't even have to be very many. Maybe even like five sentences about the filly-fooler comment and a quick apology would have been perfect. Otherwise, yet another awesome short story of yours! Keep it up!
804687 My headcanon is that Spike is about 5 years younger than Twilight. It is canon that Spike is as old as the Mane 6's cutie marks (he was hatched by the same event that directly/indirectly gave the 6 their butt tattoos). I also assume Rarity is a older than Twilight (the 6 don't have to be born within a year of each other). This gives us an age gap of 5-6 years which becomes more insignificant the older they become (6 years becomes a smaller percentage of their lifespan as they age). So, plausible.

Well crafted story, yet it feels like this one is not finished. Rainbow received advice from Rarity to go figure out her feelings with Scoots, and to give her a shot. Rainbow gave Scoots shot at date in Canterlot. Story just falls flat there with no ending or resolution to what Rainbow's feelings are.
Seems like a solid foundation for a relationship…. Yikes.
