Wow , so much hate , and yet this fic has been nearly perfect so far , with the most inportant elements , such as misoginy and the interaction betweben spike and button mash being subtle enough . Wasnt is not subtle however , is the fics description , which needlesly describes the events of the second chapter and makes us believe the tone of the history is different

My Writing style was heavily inspired by Fruits Basket, Naruto, Inuyasha, Gravitation, and various other anime which all have the same tone. Really really creepy, sad, and sometimes even getting a little dark well wrapped up in sweet moments with lots of comedy and silliness. I just grew up watching that stuff so it's how I write. I also like to lore people in with a litter tone instead of having the world fall apart before the reader even knows what the world is like.
Right now the world seems bright and rosy because the boys haven't yet realized their feelings for each other. When that happens things will get a lot harder for them.
As was explained in the first chapter there are very few boys in comparison to girls and because of that same sex relationships between girls is okay but not for boys has society desperately needs them to have children in order to continue. Although boys have equal rights gay boys are shunned and discriminated against.
However even when things start to get serious I'm going to have a lot of happy and funny moments as that's just my writing style. I like mixing drama with a good dose of humor and an upbeat attitude. I don't usually care for anything that's one or the other either

But (at least In my opinion) the description makes this story appear to be like one of the many that portrays people as either , abusers and victicms that conform to the system or protagonists that will end the hipocrisy of the world , and save the so called victicms , even though they are made unrealisticly good so we long for them to be freed from the villians which are portrayed as cartonishly evil even though their actions stem from the ideals of society itself and they werent expected to act otherwise.

First I have no idea why the story gets so much hate. I can guess because they don't like spankings, or because this is a innocent childhood romance fic and the characters are taking so long to get together but I want them to develop naturally, or just my writing style which is really weird, or it could even be something as simple as my bad spelling and grammar. There are lots of reasons people wouldn't like it but I'm happy so many choose to look past them and enjoy it as a fic. Now if only all the people who are reading my fic hit that like button Xp
As for how I see Spike and Twilight's relationship. Like I said I still view them as siblings. There is nothing wrong with viewing them as parental but that just doesn't match my headcanon. Of course not matching a headcanon isn't a good reason to not read a good fic which is why I read yours and enjoyed it so much. The actress who plays Twilight said in an interview that she saw it as Siblings who lost their parents. I can see that in how she plays the role.
It's like the movie Lilo & Stitch. After their parents died Lilo's big sister was forced to take care of her. That meant she had to start making sure the girl brushed her teeth, bathed, ate properly, and yes even taking the role of disciplinarian. She took on the role of a mother but she was still the big sister and they liked to give each other a hard time and still had that sibling dynamic.
With Twilight, she hatched Spike's egg at a very young age so the age gap wasn't that big. She was still a kid herself well raising Spike so that's how I think it developed as Siblings. Twilight has a lot more responsibility then most siblings but she still views herself as Spike's big sister and Spike came to reciprocate that due to how she was raising him.
I know you don't agree with my headcanon, and I have a lot of weird ones that make perfect sense to me and no one else, but I hope you can still enjoy my fics for what they are.

Ponies are more magic then science. Even the technology they do have is controlled by magic so no, no sperm donation.
And, which will be talked about later, there was a point in time where males were basically sex slaves for a community of mares in order to get them pregnant. As a result of that dark time in their history making a Stallion doing "stud work" is considered immoral and approaching a Stallion about it is actually illegal. Not to mention Stallions themselves are offended by the concept because of Equestrian history and they do have rights over their body now.
The population is high enough to sustain itself as ponies range in the billions but homosexual are still looked down on as being selfish.

No she wouldn't. From how Equestrian/Ponyville Education looks, it appears to be based on early 20th Century schooling. Teachers were allowed to spank the students due to Child Protection laws being non-existent.
