I like where this is going and would like to see more. There are a few errors here and there, but overall, I enjoyed what I read.
Though small question. When Sonata absorbs a creature, are they still alive somewhere, or do they flat out die?

They're still alive and aware. Sonata can feel them inside of her and communicate with them like a hive-mind. But she's the one in control of her body.
Could you point out some of the more glaring errors, so I can patch them up?

I think I spotted a your in place of a you're somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
I think you need to put more references to her size. Basically you've said she has grown only once, even though she ate so much afterwards.

I have an idea: Adagio gets Sonata to go eat Sunset. When she gets to her house, Sonata finds that Sunset is sick with the flu and Flash, who she has gotten back with, is helping her. Sonata makes a tiny clone of herself as to not be seen and slips under the door. The clone fall into Sunset's soup, which is on a tray-table, and gets eaten by Sunset who then gets Sonata's powers.

I really liked this chapter.
Pretty good chapter, and Sonata is discovering how powerful she is, it's like One Peice Luffy was a rubber man, but unlike Fanstic four or Plastic man, he using his abiltiies in new ways and found other ways to increase or combine abitlies together.

So far your Slime shows an aversion to fire. I wonder if the other two will hold true.
There may be a way around her weakness. If you think of it like this her gelatinous body is based on many chemicals from living being she has consumed. If she consumes enough, then she can condense the excessive parts of herself to be condensed into a hardened or even near metallic state which can be reabsorbed (albeit more slowly due to the condensation of said body part) and will ultimately give her more resistance if not immunity to her weakness. Plus helps with piercing into flesh a thing. This is called superhuman Bio-metamorphosis in my language (sad aint it) which allows an individual the ability to adapt and evolve their powers into something else. It's a thought.

Also, Sonata's powers bring to mind another entity stored in my database. Absorbs people, is unreasonably attractive, can shapeshift into a squirrel, is only harmed by drastic temperatures... aha:
