And I don't think Darth Vader would be cunning enough to anticipate a planet full of Jedi because he'd think that would be kind of stupid, maybe i'm wrong maybe it did happen somewhere in the EU. Well, the magic is certainly OP here. Then again, Star Wars technology and its general power/ordinance broke the scales so much because dense writers thought bigger numbers were better that it honestly doesn't matter at this point.

Dear god, imagine if ponies were really like this? They make canon Discord look like a child in this fic. I'd say the Empire should just forget this and do an organic sweep, a death star approach, or you could even get Palpatine to make a force-storm and rape the planet.
7685291 Or if you want to get REALLY insane, you could just bring an Imperial Sun Crusher. It is essentially the most overpowered spaceship in all of fiction. It can trigger a supernova explosion; then survive said supernova explosion. It tanked a blast from the Death Star and could only be destroyed via black hole. And its the size of a star fighter, making it also one of the smallest Star Wars super weapons.
It was also built as a side-project of the Death Star!
If a weapon was ever a "Mary-Sue," that would be it.
