You'll find, my friend, that in the gutters of this floating world, much of the trash consists of fallen flowers.

Madame Fluttershy and her assistant Twilight Sparkle aren't the first ponies to journey around the Equestrian multiverse's ring of worlds on a daring wager.

But they might be the last.

Sugar a controlled substance?

I don't like this multiverse.

it's actually something they're mixing in with the sugar :pinkiecrazy: though sugar can be harmful too...

its a detail i want to expand on in a later story, what that drug does. but i picked sugar cubes because i didn't want grim descriptions of needles or such, making readers uncomfortable :fluttershysad:

I've (finally) reviewed this on my blog as part of my 80 Days crossover roundup! Thank you for an entertaining read.

I don't get this at all. c.c Did Twilight needlessly bribe the guard for entry?

I spent an awful lot of time trying to figure that out. Instead of, y'know, reading the story. >.>

Having the object of the wager be, of all things, a peacockatrice, is just perfect. :yay: :facehoof:

A fascinating glimpse at a larger story. Thank you for it.

This is pretty cool – even if it seems more tailored towards confusing the reader than anything else.

that's fair. I had a lot of trouble with that back then.
