A short little one-shot, explaining the importance of words in the Wasteland. Sometimes, they're more important than anything else.

For such a short story, I liked it.
Didn't really feel like I got to know the cast, and in a way I sorta' already did before reading it. Gave me a bit of a pang, though, and for its length and what I think it wanted to go through, that was enough for me to enjoy it.
I liked this quite a bit. I could feel the grief and desperation at the heart of Balk's hesitation, and her relief was palpable. A nicely contained one-shot that cut straight to the heart of itself, well done.
Good work!
Goddamn, short and sweet.
