well that depends on a variety of things. I keep most of the concepts from the show in this fic. I do make some adjustments here and there, and add some creepy factors on certain situations -spoiler- [ it'll happen on the next chapter ]. and sorry if it pisses you off that my chapters are shorter than most of the other stories. it makes it easier to maintain updates and brings in more readers that don't usually like lengthy chapters. and as i've said before, this is ongoing, so this series isn't going to end anytime soon
Sorry for not addressing you personally but I'm a total newbie here. Anyway I can see why shorter chapters are better in some aspects than long ones, so I'll try not to be a bother over it any more.

it's alright, i like answering questions. The series are composed of arcs, where it revolves usually around one character, but several others will take part as well. The next arc will introduce a new oc, and revolve around her and pinkie pie, with rainbow dash, charcoal, and a few others being a supportive role. All characters will have their moment to shine in this series, including the background ones, so i mean it when i say it's gonna be one hell of a show. Also, all the arcs will tie together in some way, so the love interest between AJ and Charcoal will become apparent throughout the series.

Sadly, i agree with you. Every time i write the next one it keeps getting shorter though i intended for it to be longer. I'm trying to keep the stories within a 900 - 1200 word range. i have a lot of things to deal with right now so it's a bit hard to keep up with the updates. I'll be sure that the next few chapters will be longer.

I understand that this arc may seem a bit shorter than the last one, but if you compare how many total words there are for each chapter (excluding the bonus chapters) they are relatively close in terms of word count. Well.. maybe not.

no, not all of the mane 6 will be in a relationship. I wanted to get all the lovey and gushy stuff out of the way before I get into the nitty gritty.
there will be romantic interests later on, but the next arc will consist of mostly action and build up rather than romantic tension like the last two arcs
