Very well written.
Trixie as a transmare actually works fairly well. The character when she was first written was written as a male character and I forget why the show authors changed that in the writing. Also the shows writing staff was once questioned about whether a transgender character might ever appear in show and they replied that they already have a transgender character in show who appeared season 1 though they weren't going to reveal who the character was and let fans speculate.
