It's not bad, but if I'm going to be honest it doesn't seem like something written from Rainbow's perspective. It's far too emotional and sappy in my opinion for a pony like RD.

See, I don't ship within the Mane Six, but I'm a sucker for AppleDash and RariJack. It's like each ship is a genre. AppleDash usually has the feels, RariJack usually spends most time knowing each other better, TwiDash usually is Twilight being "loosened" up by RD, FlutterDash is usually for taking care for Rainbow, etc.
Long story short, this is my denied-but-guilty-pleasure-but-my-second-AJ-and-Rainbow-ship.

2. When you're writing about Applejack kissing RD really deeply and all, they sound like they're in the middle of the baby shower... maybe they should wait until they're home before doing so?

Well, Twilight gave them the ability to produce. (I do hint about it in this story and the loose sequel Party Blues eg The greatest magical miracle in history. One that saw Twilight given a Marebel Peace Prize for her contributions to magical knowledge.)
