I don;t know if anyone reads these comments before reading the whole thing, but Electric Wizards albums Come My Fanatics and Dopethrone make excellent soundtracks to this fic. The track Solarion 13 especially.
That was horribly dark, that world of hellish creatures. Which, of course, means I enjoyed this story greatly. I look forward to reading the next 2 chapters to figure out how 83 died.
First guy in two and a half years here, so it seems.
I liked this a lot! I do not yet know why 83 is putting his marks towards those other numbers—presumably those are other slaves he is rescuing. I was very confused by the trolls and orcs and ogres and goblins at first, until I realized that they came from Tartarus. One question remains—are there more monoliths like New Sheol that wander the scorched remains of Equestria? Do they battle each other along the wrecked ruins?

Properly hellish story, nice work.

My god, Skirts, your stories are just an endless flow of happiness and kindness.
Well, Skirts, I loved it. But instead of praise, I'm going to
force myself togive you nit-picky feedback!"and his ears intinctually twitched" -- Should be "instinctively", I believe. Maybe it's a cool word I don't know about, though.
"He glanced down through the bars of a metal great." -- Should be "grate".
Oooh, that's one hell of a dystopia going on there. It's all looking pretty good so far. Time for some more
