Well other than the pain lol legalizing incest, it would not do anything other than creep out everypony and probably make a lot of ponies angry. Trying to change something that's been a forever taboo will end in a good result, my money is on a civil war if it was a realistic fic. Yes i know it sounds extreme but it's true.

A couple errors in this chapter. I'll point them out as best I can.
5th paragraph: "Twilight tried to shake of her anxious feeling." Pretty sure it's supposed to be off.
"I've noticed that the Main Street bridge over the river has come into disrepair. I motion for a an amount of fifteen thousand bits to pay for repairs based on estimates I've collected from local masons as the lowest bidder." Remove the a and the space obviously.
I also just realized something and I'm mad at myself for not realizing it sooner, The repeal of regulation 1nc35t. 1nc35t is incest and I am so mad it took me a day to realize this.
Good job so far though. I've enjoyed this.
Okay so a few more errors in this chapter.
1st paragraph: Twilight Sparkle stood at the Ponyville train station platform the following evening; 3rd paragraph: The next train wasn't for almost a week. Seems to be a bit of continuity error here. As it's not the next evening from last chapter but a week later.
1st paragraph: Her legs twinged, rigid and on edge. Pretty sure a comma is needed after rigid but it's not a BIG deal.
"This act formally repeals regulation 1nc35t." He looked up a her with a blank stare. Pretty sure that's supposed to be at.
That seems to be it. Again good job.
Okay last but not least. A few more errors and we're done.
