I think they exist...Just not always as you expect them.
I think that there are certain people thet you'll meet in your life who just connect with you... more than anyone else, and you know that it isn't a typical thing, yet you understand each other perfectly.
I think that this person will always be your soul mate. They could be your neighbor, just about anyone. Anyone you've interacted with.
A person that you connect with.
Maybe even your best friend...

It's not bad, but it's not a pleasure, either. I think my biggest problem was that you felt like you had to tell s that you were changing perspective. That just ruined the reading. I'm not going to tell you how to write, but that just seemed really inappropriate.

A decent story, but a odd ending. Fluttershy is dating some unknown stallion, but nevermind that, going to go confess to Dashie now.
It feels like it could use another 4 or 5 hundred words expanding the resolution.
7285923 Sorry. Well. I meant too. She had felt the same way about Rainbow Dash. And she made up the stallion thing She was just afraid to ask. She didn't know if she felt the same way. Until, she read the note, she felt sorry for her because she felt the same way too, but gave up. Is that a little better backstory. If not, I will edit to add about 400 words of backstory to the whole thing.
Imo it has potential for a way longer story but still it was good
