A sidestory to I Against I, Me Against You.
Golden Heart's already messy family life just gets more complicated when her ex-husband Arcane Star suddenly and unexpectedly dies. Her ex-husband whose obsession with strange bipedal aliens that may or may not even exist had ruined their marriage. Now forced to face her own guilt, Golden's already strained relationship with her daughter Moon Dancer only worsens as everything begins falling apart at the seams.
Additionally, the more Golden finds out about Arcane Star's death, the more suspicious she becomes of the circumstances surrounding it. Between the huge cover-ups and impossible accounts of what really transpired, Golden Heart is forced to consider the possibility that Arcane Star's life's work wasn't just fantasy after all....

7438511 Plus in IAIMAY there's a brief flashbash Wash has to his first day on the job with his fellow Freelancers. He almost introduces himself as "David" before remembering to stick to codewords.
I always thought Wash's death was suspicious, when the last time we saw him he had been expected to survive.
[Edit: Just realized, Wash is likely not actually a pony. IAIMAY showed that Celestia was able to disguise the Director as a pony so that he could move about without suspicion during his early visits to Equestria. This is likely what is going on here.]
Maybe Simmons could make a comeback too. I think FC wrote in a blog post he regretted killing Simmons off so that might have been the original intent. There's certainly ways to retcon it though. Would be in RvB tradition to do so. Forerunner pocket dimensions can be tricky things, I'd imagine. They probably mess with time dilation a bunch. Who knows.
