As someone who had to have one of their cats put down only a few months back in November I sympathized with Rarity all throughout this story.:fluttershysad: Great work!

As someone who had to go through the sadness of putting their pet down, this story is very well related too. It's good that you can connect your readers to a story. This was very well done, I'm impressed and excited to see what the future holds for your story.:raritywink:

Very nice. I think you would like Estee's Five Hundred Little Murders, because it has a similar theme. Warning: bring tissues and be prepared to cry.

I have read that story and I LOVE it!

I cried. I lost my beautifully calico Taffy baby not so long ago. She is now a picture hanging on the wall in my bedroom and twice in a locket I wear every day I go out.

I don't know what this says about me but shortly before I lose anyone, it seems like a "replacement" is there just a few days before they go. Right now, Mittens is on my lap. She came three days before Taffy left me but Taffy is never really gone.

I... I can't read this. :fluttershyouch:

One of my Cats was killed 13 months ago by some kind of wild animal, and unlike Rarity in this story having to put Opal down and getting to say Goodbye, I never got that chance. I never got to say Goodbye to my little Zorro. :fluttercry:

Not a lot of sad stories make me feel this way but this one is just so sad. I nearly cried.

How dare you, you wonderful soul? You've made me cry buckets! How dare you?

In all seriousness though, beautiful work. This made me incredibly sad, even as someone who's ever owned a pet. The story stabbed me through the heart. Amazing.

That being said, some extra proofreading wouldn't hurt. I've noticed a few mistakes with the 'said tag' and you really need to work on paragraphing. Those huge blocks of texts are kinda hard to read.

But keep up the good work. Hats off, dear AutoKnight01!

A masterpiece and so beautifully written. I’ve never lost a pet - my heart goes out to those who have - but this left me in tears regardless. But It’s such a good fic - you really did a wonderful job.

As a man who's lost all three of his cats by now--all of whom had to be put down, this hits hard... :raritycry:
