Ah... I remember the 'Potato' joke from a fan vid of MLP some time ago. Looking at this story, even though we'd already 'get' a movie for MLP FIM almost a year after this story's release in a way I do feel that the opening does have this classic opening. From the brief recap of part of the series to the birth of a pony who'd one day make a big difference to Equestria, it's got that classic feel to open a 'journey of self discovery' kind of tale in which a child, before they even know it, was born to do great things. Plus, it is a rather touching moment to have Twilight's family welcoming her shortly after her birth that's always fun to imagine. Which all the more makes me anxious to see how this story would have continued moving on.
