In the quaintest and furthest stellar reaches of your race's empire, an anomalous planet has been discovered in orbit around a G-type main sequence star.

You are a high researcher of the Star Guild, and you have been tasked with leading a joint expedition to this mysterious world. But what lies in store there? A grand paradise laden with ancient magics to fuel your people's scientific strides, or just another disappointing backwater prime only for farming and industry? One thing is already clear to both yourself and the Guild: nature does not concentrate so much magic on one world and its moon just on its own.

Just a little experiment of mine into the realm of second person narrative, so it may be a little rough

This has tickled my sci-fi/fantasy/adventure bone in a way few other things ever have. You've got a new fan now.

A fascinating exploration of a post-pony Equestria. And the happy ending is especially nice. Thank you for this.

I don't usually do second-person stories, but this one was great. The world-building was interesting, and I liked the teasing happy ending.

Hello! Have a review. Yep, PaulAsaran and I both happened to review the fic within a few days of each other. Spooky, huh? As he did, I liked this. A little reminiscent of Cold in Gardez's Lost Cities at times, and I mean that as real praise. Definitely one of the finer second-person fics I've read.
