In the Sombra timeline, Twilight Sparkle has failed her entrance test trying to open up Spikes dragon egg. distraught that her dreams were dashed and that harmonious magic had failed her, she concludes that disharmonious magic might be to her liking
The Marks of Destiny are the enemy of all free life. It says much about the extent of the indoctrination of the people of this world that they celebrate the loss of free thought, the restriction of cognitive thinking and the advancement of civilization. Grogar in his own way was the last hope for this world, though Twilight MIGHT be a passable replacement. Time will tell.
Hmmmm, wonder if Young Twilight would corrupt the more magically adept members of the order in loyal demons? Grogar had done so to unicorns before, even had a odd interest in magical music, though the question is. 'Is Grogar really dead? or merely imprisoned in Tambelon his bastion and capital?'
Can't say anything about Grogar's Crypt Prelude, because there really isn't much to say except that I liked it very much. Which I already did. Meh.
This new chapter, however... Hoooo boy, this is something.
More fleshing out of Order and stuff is good, though it does beg a question of just how important it will be in the story beyond their upcoming confrontation with Twilight. On that note, I must confess, I always leaned, and still do, towards the Free Will end of the sliding scale, so I do hope it will uphold in the story despite the appearance of Oracle magic(which is seemingly confirmed by Major's words). But we will see, I guess. Also, the poetry was just beautiful, thought last verse does read a bit wonky because of the additional line.
Amulet strikes again, hehe. I wonder, will you go into the origins of it at some point? And it is definitely afraid of Grogar, and even his resting place. And for a good reason, it seems. I really hope that guys from Order are not stupid enough to actually go into Tambelon(pocket dimension), and will wait for Twilight at the entrance instead.
Tambelon itself... Heh. Looks like a hell of a place to go to on a vacation. I hope the inside does live up to the expectations the facade arises. Moving on, I'm really curious as to is it actually Grogar's spirit or something, or is it just an insanely complicated spell matrice. Regardless, I do hope you will find a way to catch up on who and what he is, as I - and some other readers here, I'm pretty sure - do not know what and who he is. I mean, I just went to youtube to check if I will be able to watch G1, and my god, those pony designs, they're horrendous
Heh, so it was just Catrina being a pussy in previous chapters. M'kay, I can agree to this, why not. Especially considering it seems you're gonna make her more serious in upcoming chapters.
All in all, awesome. Still love this Twilight to bits. And now I don't feel like groaning every time I see the title.
You'll see on that one, I can't really get too far into it without going into spoilers that I wouldn't trust black bars too.
Oh yes, I shall be going into its origins.
Next chapter will be covering Grogar along with muuuuuuuuuch more. I rewatched the gen 1 thing recently. Had to put that thing on double speed to get through it faster XD

I love this version of Tambelon, sounds familiar though, what were your influences in envisioning this version of Tambelon?
8057459 I drew inspiration from a number of sources. The Weeping Angels of Doctor Who inspired the trees for example.
Ok, I AM LOVING THIS STORY!
MIDNIGHT IS SO UNREGRETTABLY EVIL, AND I LOVE IT!!!!
Keep up the good work!
I sense great hate in you young one.
I expect this version of Twilight to roar out "WWWWRRRRRRRYYYYYYY!" At some point.
And if you get the joke, yes i think she's that evil at this ppint.
8057467 yeah fuck those things
Best Twilight i've ever read
I have this urge, I have this urge to read, cuz this is addictive.
I find it rather adorable that the Order of the Sun think themselves a threat...especially considering who they're up against.
It's like reading evil in the most joyful of ways.
God damn it I love this story!

8058655 Not to mention that she's Equestria's best hope of getting rid of Sombra.
