I've switched back and forward on using Prologues too.
I wonder if the info in the prologue could have been dribbled into the story.
You could have started with the main char immediately, and drawn in the readers instead of an info dump then we meet the main char. Why did you or the writers decide to have the prologue?

Now, I reckon the author wanted to set the stage first, so to say. That is, explain the basics of the story world without having lots of exposition in the main part (the chapters) devoted to it. So, in the future chapters showing something complex about the world would be easier for the reader, because they already know what makes the world go 'round.

I have three guesses:
1) Tags: the story is hard to tag, since it starts off nice and cute and then goes darker or lighter like a sine wave. Also, the [sex] tag is not a sign of explicit content here. There will be mentions and references, but nothing explicit. Ergo, some folks may be unhappy.
2) The story has a huge fanbase in Russia. The same's true for its haters. Part of the dislikes are surely their doing.
3) Slow-ish pace: the story does not introduce all major characters right from the get-go. Say, Lyra is introduced only in Chapter 2, while Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo are introduced a couple chapters later (so have patience).

This story has a nice concept, a god pacing (IMO) and while it needs some spelling check, I think it has enough consistency to be read by anyone (English isn't my native language and I can read fine, but I hope those proofreaders help you a lot).
As someone who doesn't live in Europe (Latin America), I can see how this can go differently in other continents (almost), which incentivize the possibility of increasing this worldbuilding, another plus for me.
I really hope you manage to translate and send here more chapters because this has some good potential.

Yes, our editors do help us a lot. Without them, the translation would be.. less readable, to say the least. But alas, we do need more spelling checks to catch all of 'em typos (just like pokemon).
In the coming months we're planning to pick up the pace and release more chapters, since it's finally summer break (for me at least) and we'll be able to devote more time to the project. So stay tuned! The further you read, the better it gets.
