You know why I peruse the "Sad" section of this site? I do it so I can find brilliant, outstanding pieces like this. Both this and the prequel were just that: brilliant, outstanding, and marvellously written. I usually avoid tragedy stories, this and the prequel, but I was hoping the story woudl end right before Pinkie woke up.
I'm guessing this ist he end of this little saga, I don't hate sad endings, but I prefer happy ones. Nonetheless this and the first story get a like from me, but not a favorite, this isn't something I'm going to want to read again.

Sorry if sound like an utter moron but... the last few lines confused me a bit. I know that when Dash "woke up" it was an illusion but when it said,
"A tear fell from her eye as she glanced towards the vial beside her. She carefully tucked it back into the small bag it had come from.
She didn't need it anymore."
I was kinda confused.
Does she relise that Dash might wake up soon or feel that she can't end here or... what? I'm again sorry if it's obvious but.. i hope you can clear it up for me! Thanks!
