The Perfect Crime

The Push

Edward walked into the CPD Station and noticed that Twilight Sparkle was standing outside his office.

"Ah...Mr Green I've been meaning to speak with you" Twilight said

"Oh...about what?" Edward asked

"The murder case that I'm investigating" Twilight replied "This case seems to be something your really intrigued by"

"Yes" Edward said "It is"

"Well I'm going to be nice" Twilight said "Five minutes with the body and the weapon"

this was his chance to finally prove he could solve the case

"Sure" Edward grinned as he walked into the room where the body was being kept, "Okay...here we go" Edd saw specks of blood on the back hooves and examined them...it identified as the victims blood but also seemed to identify as a Mr Meurtre (the surname seemed French)...he was the murderer...but how did Mr Meurtre's blood get on the victims back hoof?:

The victim was attacked with the knife and then decided to kick the attacker, making him bleed a little, the attacker then stabbed the victim which then led to the attacker ripping off the victims horn.

Edd wrote everything down into his note book. But when he was about to leave and tell Twilight the case was solved, someone...well...something was standing there...it was some sort of green, ghost pony...but then Edd noticed who this thing looked like: It looked like HIM!

"Hello, Edward Green...how are you?" The thing said

"Who are you?" Edward asked

"We will talk about that later!" The thing looked at him with a grin that could kill...he looked exactly like Edward except he had a green tinge and wasn't wearing glasses "Don't tell Twilight about your...findings"

"What...why not?" Edward stuttered

"What has she ever done for you?" The thing asked "YOU solved this murder...she didn't...why should she get the credit?"

"I'm sure she will tell Celestia about me" Edward said

"And risk her begin failed?" The thing suggested "She was given a test by Celestia and she wants her to think she passed...by saying she solved it", Edd thought about this and turned around to clean the blood of the bodies hooves.

Edward left the morgue with a smile "I couldn't find anything" He lied "This ones a real mystery"

"Are you sure?" Twilight looked worried "You couldn't find anything?"

"Nope" Edward said before leaving the CPD Station

*six hours later*

Edd stood at the door of the person who murdered that poor unicorn, "Okay...walk in...call DT Blan and arrest him" Edd said out loud

"You are really boring" The ghost...Edd was leaning on the wall next to Edd "This guy has caused you so much trouble...just kill him"

"What!?" Edd shouted "No...killing is wrong!"

"For god sake just do it!!!" The ghost looked angry as it said this

Edd knocked on the door and watched as the door opened...
