After all, AJ is finally showing some love interest for the first time in her life—it's crucial for everything to be perfect! She'll need the perfect outfit, setting, and pitch if she plans to get the perfect pony, right?
Which is why Rarity will do everything in her power to help Applejack on scoring her first date, despite the heavily implied protest from the apple-bucking mare herself.

It's fine to ship AppleDash, but can someone please explain to me why I see that overwhelming hatred for Rarijack (and to a lesser extent FlutterDash) from AppleDashers? I don't see that with any other opposing ships in this fandom or from Rarijackers themselves even. It's honestly kind of soured me on the ship cause they are the only group of shippers I really see much overt hostility for other ships from (though I personally always perfered Rarijack and RariDash).
If it's about how AppleDash has seemingly lost a lot of ground to Rarijack and other ships you really shouldn't be surprised, Rarijack gets a lot more fresh fuel while AppleDash has basically been running entirely off Fan fics for a few years now.
