The campiest of happers.

It started with a Nightmare: a corrupted monarch, a desperate sister, and a fragmented kingdom left in their wake. Saddled with the burden of protecting Equestria alone, Celestia chose to be strong enough not to. Instead, she found another way: three mortal ponies, the most magically gifted of their generation, to stand by her side as defenders of the realm.

For a thousand years, they've been everything Equestria needed them to be. Scholars, guardians, warriors, heroes—or, as Celestia prefers to call them, Angels. And if their inaugural achievements are any indication, her latest nominees for that illustrious order might just be the best ones yet.

Provided, of course, they don't blow up half the kingdom proving it.

An alternate universe retelling of the events of Friendship is Magic. A non-zero number of changelings were harmed in the making of said account.

Sunset better be Farrah Fawcett, or Im'ma slap a bitch.

Goddamnit aqua, you actually did it.

And what a beautiful thing he's done indeed.

Author Interviewer

Oh gosh, this is going to be another hell of a ride... And I'm really compelled...

Guess Starlight Glimmer really... Dropped the bomb there.

Expectations for this story were... Blown out of the water.

Seems Sunset still has... Quite the fire in her.

Looks like the Element nukes... Have been doubled.

But for real, I'd love to read their first attempt.

Fave'd, liked, and :moustache:'d

There must be more of this. Because moar! :flutterrage:

I can only echo 7059178 you magnificent bastard.

So are they more like the Dirty Pair or M.I.?

This looks promising. Good job!

Friendship is Overpowered? :pinkiehappy:

I don't know if I should sigh and laugh or smack you for these puns.

I want more. I need more. I demand moar of this immediately.

Pretty good. Can't wait to read more.

That lools quite good, I'm interested.

But... where is Charlie?

Beside her, Twilight summoned a translucent shield the same fuchsia shade as her horn’s aura, holding it in midair as an ad hoc shield.

A shield served as an ad hoc shield?

Yeeeeeeah, baby! How’s that Second Law of Motion taste?

The Second Law of Motion is Force = Mass * Acceleration. You might want the Law of Kinetic Energy: K.E. = 0.5 * Mass * (Velocity squared).

Those aside, very good. Waiting to see what comes next.

Well this is certainly a way to make an entrance. :rainbowderp:

sans no

your puns on Tatsurou's stories are bad enough

So - how many elements does it take to defeat Nightmare Moon?

One, at Sufficient Velocity. faved and liked.

Well, considering how quickly they took care of Nightmare Moon, I' m curious to see how they'll deal with everything else that comes their way. Though considering the collateral damage already, who knows how much of Equestria will be left standing. Definitely following, curious to see more of their background too, hopefully. And how or rather if they end up in Ponyville.

Faith, Angels. It's called faith.

One, at Sufficient Velocity.

You forgot the class 10 hurricane. (is class 10 even a thing for storms?:rainbowhuh:) eh, whatever :derpytongue2:

Well, this is off to a good start...! :rainbowlaugh:

Meh. I would've preferred they just not know what was going on after the fight, and fired again. I haven't read the rest of the story, but I get the feeling that it would have made things a lot less convoluted.

Aww......ah well. At least there's always the REAL trinity universe. You know, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and Trixie? Yeah. That one. :rainbowdetermined2: :trollestia:

Well call me surprised, we got one influenced by Charlie's Angels (to which I absolutely love :pinkiehappy:) Consider this liked and faved

I have two comments....First, ALL OF THE YES!!! Second, GOD, I LOVE STARLIGHT'S PERSONALITY!!!

Saddled with the burden

I hope you feel properly ashamed for that one.

Oh, this was fun~

Starlight seems a little out-of-character, though. Feels like you wrote her with RD's personality, which I'll assume is because of something in the backstory

Yeah, that's the impression I got as well. I mean, the backstory's got to be different given that Starlight's not running a cult in the hinterlands and Sunset has hooves, but it was a bit jarring.

So RD got a horn and an education.

Oh, why not, have a like and a fave.

Don't get me wrong, this story looks good and the start seems promising, Aquaman...

..but why didn't you do a story about the whales? THE WHALES! Who cares and remembers the whales?

I like it. I am a fan of Charlie's Angels and this my first fanfic with Sunset and Starlight, respectively. So, I am looking forward for the next chapter. Also is Celestia going to talk to them through Equestria's equivalent of a radio.

You mention the second law of motion... For gods sake yer a wizard. I just finished a study in science for newtons laws of motion.

This is going to be... interesting.

This is relevant to all my interests.

Wait, how did Starlight get to orbit?

*celestia reads the report*

Also, congrats on making me make another two whole shelves, just so I can actually be content with it being properly cataloged. I am now at 61 shelves.

I loved the whole theme to "Charlies Angels" so I am adding this.

All unicorns again?
Ah well, people seem to like it. I'll give it a go.

Ok, fav'd and thumbsuped. You got me, author. This. Is. Awesome. Starlight is best character. ^_^

“Yeeeeeeah, baby! How’s that Second Law of Motion taste?”

This... this is gonna be a lot of fun. I'm always keen to see what people dream up when any of these three start working together instead of in opposition, simply because it's so enjoyable to see the underlying similarities in their characters play out through their vastly different personalities. It's the same reason I liked watching Rainbow Dash interact with Lightning Dust, who is pretty much Sunset Shimmer to RD's Twilight: looking at yourself in a mirror gets interesting when the mirror starts looking back. The story, too, has potential, though I can't really say much on that after just one short chapter. Well written, didn't catch any particularly glaring grammatical or spelling errors...
I will say I'm terribly sorry for Twilight. Buildings with strong sentimental value just keep exploding around her, don't they? :trollestia:
Keep it up, can't wait to see where this goes!
- Headwind
P.S.: Dagnabbit, 7059198, 7061899, you two always get there first! Would it kill ya to let me catch up for once? :raritywink:

Oh hell yeah, that was a lot of fun. Unicorn master race, clearly. But why the flash of blue when Starlight dropped in? Briefly made me think Dash was who performed the orbital drop.

Interesting having just three element bearers splitting them evenly, not quite sure offhand if I've seen that before in a series premiere rewrite story.

Good chapter! I like the way you handle this crossover.

This is an AU story. The Our Town, equality thing, revenge and stuff didn't happen in this fanfic. The ponies have got different lives, so they can't really be considered OoC.
Now, for Twilight, we know her main traits, so they can be put here, but for Sunset and even more for Starlight, what do we truely know of their mindsets?

Sunset leaned over to catch the permanent marker Starlight tossed her way, the Crusaders following underneath it like kittens chasing a butterfly.

That is a great bit of imagery. :rainbowlaugh:

Also, poor Trixie... :pinkiegasp:

I really like the three roles Twilight gave the Angels. Sunset the Beauty, Starlight the Brawn and Sparkle the Brains. And if you think about it, it even fits in the cannon.
Sunset manipulated a whole school in fearing and following her. I always imagined this that she mostly used her charisma and people-skills for this, things that are in my opinion part of the skill set of a Beauty.
Starlight who can forcefully rip a pony's identity of their flanks, self-levitate and fight an Alicorn to stand-stil is obvious Brawn.
And lastly, the studious Twilight is Brains. Knows a lot about everything and more. Also knows many different spells but is not as strong as Sunset or Starlight (but still very strong for an unicorn)

Wonder if Trixie's going to be a Syndrome-type character.

I like the backstory of how the girls came together originally. Nice twist on Starlight's friend separation issues.

So, Trixie as a stand-in unicorn for Ponyville? Makes sense, they'd need one.

You know, I want to believe that a version of this is canon.

After all, what are they on a break from? The obvious answer is clearly being secret agents.

Yea. Wasn't a fan of this one. Just kinda threw all the other characters out if nowhere without precision and only thing mentioned really was that they have been there several times before. Was hoping for something more nostalgic but new at the same time that doesn't show how they are also the the elements and what not.
I liked the beginning as it kinda eluded to a deeper story and feeling behind but overall was kinda boring and and not captivating.
