Chapter 1
This is an unofficial sequel.

Rainbow Dash sniffed and wiped the damp trail that had appeared on her cheek.
“Welcome home, Squirt,” she managed to choke out before kissing the filly’s pink mane again. “Welcome home.”
After a few more minutes of sisterly bliss, Rainbow dash fell asleep next to Scootaloo.
Together, the two slept. However, Rainbow Dash was awoken when she heard Scootaloo asking her:
‘’Rainbow Dash?’’
She slowly opened her sleepy eyes.
‘’Are you awake?’’
She looked into the little orange pegasus’ beautiful eyes.
‘’Where am I?’’ asked Scootaloo.
‘’At your new home.’’ Rainbow Dash smiled.
After a few seconds of thinking, she realized what the ‘’big surprise’’ was. And now she wanted to scream out of happiness.
“Is this real?”
“Yeah Squirt, it is”
Scootaloo’s smile was brighter than ever. “I’ve never had a real home! But now I have one, and it’s the best, ever!”
A tear was running down Rainbow’s cheek. She had never seen a filly so happy.
“Welcome home,” said Rainbow Dash. “I’ll show you around.”
Together they walked through the hallway upstairs.
Scootaloo needed to get used to walking on the fluffy and soft cloud floors,
“It’s amazing to live on a cloud.”
Scootaloo was amazed over how big and well decorated her new house was.
“This is my room.” Rainbow Dash said as she gestured.
Rainbow opened a big wooden door to an enormous room, of which one wall was completely covered in Wonderbolt posters. There was one very big window and as Scootaloo looked out of the it, she was amazed at the beautiful view.
“Woooow! You can see all of Cloudsdale through this window!” She exclaimed happily.
“Yeah, one of the best views you could have.”
“It’s so awesome!”
“I’ll show you your new room, follow me.”
They both walked through another hallway, at the end of the hallway was one big door.
Rainbow opened it excitedly.
“It still needs some decoration, but here it is Squirt.”
It was a large room the walls still empty and seemed like that room was the only one which didn’t have any wonderbolt posters on the wall. There was a large cloudbed on the right and a big wooden closet on the left. There also was a desk with a window above it. On the desk was a picture of Scootaloo with her friends.
“It still needs some paint and decoration, but this is your new room,” Rainbow Dash reiterated.
Scootaloo’s smile was bigger than ever before
“A CLOUDBED?!?!? I’ve always wanted a cloudbed!!! its soooo awesome!!!!!! I love it!!!!!”
Rainbow ruffled her new daughter’s mane, “Welcome home, Squirt”
After she showed the rest of her house to Scootaloo, they sat down together.
“I’ve never had a real home, and I never knew my mother. But now I have a real home, and the best possible sist… uhhm… Can I call you mother?” Scootaloo asked shyly.
“Of course! I am your mother now, aren’t I?”
“It feels weird to call you my mother, but I will try It. As I said before: I never knew my mother, but now I have the best mother in all of Equestria! I can’t explain how happy I am right now!” She paused for a moment, her eyes shining with excitement. “Are you going to teach me how to become the fastest flyer in Equestria?”
“Of course I will!”
“Yeah, you’re the best! But do you really think I can do it?”
“You have the best flying teacher there is! Of course you can do it!” Rainbow boasted, puffing out her chest.
A tear of happiness was now rolling down Scootaloo’s face.
“This is what I’ve always wanted: a home and someone that loves me.”
“I will always love you as if you were my lil sist.. Uhhm… daughter. I still need to get used to calling you my daugher.”
“Yeah, I’ll need to get used to calling you my mother. I still cant believe its true!”
Rainbow smiled. “Now, let’s make your room a little more ‘you’. What do you like?”
“I like…. Uhmm…. I like cupcakes and.. Uhmm… flying”
“Well, we are going to get some cupcakes and we are going to fly to get those cupcakes.”
“Yeah! I knew you would be awesome as my new si… uhhmm.. Mother.”
“Well, let’s go, Squirt!”
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo left home and went out to get some cupcakes at Sugarcube Corner.
“Hey, Dashie and Scootaloo! How are you two?” Pinkie asked, carrying a few cupcakes.
Scootaloo smiled and said:
“Rainbow Dash is my new mother!!!”
“REALLY!?!” Pinkie burst, her eyes wide.
“Yeah! She’s going to teach me how to become the fastest flyer in Equestria! And we are going to do all sorts of cool things together!”
Rainbow Dash said: “And we would like some cupcakes! Which ones do you want, Squirt?” She looked down to Scootaloo.
Scootaloo responded without hesitation.“I want a chocolate one!”
“You like chocolate too?” Rainbow asked.
“I love It!!!” Scootaloo enthusiastically responded.
Rainbow Dash playfully ruffled her new daughter’s mane. “Well, you have good taste. Two chocolate cupcakes, please.”
After a short time, Pinkie came out of the kitchen with twelve fresh, warm, chocolate cupcakes.
“Take them all!” Pinkie remarked, smiling brightly at them.
“Thanks, Pinkie! Bye!” They chorused, leaving Sugarcube Corner.
After they left, they went to Twilight’s castle to spread the good news. Once they were there, Rainbow knocked on the door, eagerly awaiting an answer.
“Come in! The door is open!” Twilight shouted.
Rainbow and Scootaloo entered the castle, admiring the interior inside.
“I’ll be with you in a minute!” Twilight called, her voice sounding a little strained.
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo saw a bright flash of light. After a couple of seconds, they saw Twilight coming down the stairs. Her face was tainted black and there was smoke emerging from her mane.
“It’s a very hard firework spell…” Twilight started, panting. “I tried It for the 34th time today, but they all failed…”
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo looked at each other, back at Twilight, and then erupted into laughter because of Twilight’s current situation.
“You look…… amazing.. Pffff, Aahahahaha!” Rainbow laughed, now rolling on the ground.
Twilight sighed.
Twilight explained that she was trying to perform a firework spell that was really hard to accomplish. She explained why and… Rainbow and Scoots didn't even know what Twilight was talking about.
“Ohh I uhm…. Think I’ve left the … uhm…. Door open, we need to go. Bye Twilight!” Rainbow said as she and Scootaloo both bolted out of the house.
When Scootaloo and Rainbow left Twilight's place, they said to each other:
“Did you know what she was talking about?”
Rainbow smiled and said:
“You sure act a lot like me. You also don't like the ‘egghead’ stuff. But now let's do some important stuff: eating. I'm soooooo hungry.”
Scootaloo smiled back at her new mother. “Yeah, me too. Let's eat the cupcakes we got from Pinkie!”
“Yeah, sure!”
After a short while...
“I'm so full!” Scootaloo remarked as she patted her full belly.
“Me too, Squirt. Let's try to fly home without crashing into a tree or something, but let’s make it a race; it’s just a small distance to Cloudsdale.”
“Whoever’s home first gets more cupcakes tomorrow!” Scootaloo enforced as she got into ready position.
Rainbow put on her best game face. “Okay, let’s do it.”
“ 3…….. 2… hey!” Scootaloo shouted.
Rainbow Dash already started and left Scootaloo behind.
Seeing this, Scootaloo flew off as fast as she could.
“Come back Rainbow, that’s not fair!”
Rainbow yelled back: “I needed a head start, otherwise I can’t win at all!”
“Wait Rainbow, I… I have a lot of pain in my head….. I think I’m goi….” and Scootaloo passed out. She was high in the sky. She unconsciously fell to the ground.
She was falling faster and faster, and the ground was only a couple of feet away now…..
“Gotcha!”
Rainbow Dash caught Scootaloo just in time.
After she set Scootaloo down, her eyes filled with concern.“What did you do, Scoots?”
She didn’t get a reaction.
“I need to do something… think Rainbow… think… I got it…” She stammered, but Rainbow had already known what she should do.
Rainbow Dash flew to the hospital as fast as she could, ignoring the ponies she was rushing by.
“IT’S AN EMERGENCY! “ Rainbow Dash screamed once she got to the hospital. A few doctors came over at these words, looking to Rainbow for an explanation on what happened to the pegasus filly.
Rainbow panted a bit before answering. “My little sist…. Uhm daughter... passed out randomly while she was flying.”
At these words, the doctors took Scootaloo and attached her to all kinds of machines in the span of minutes; taking many tests to ensure that she would be alright.
The doctor said: “I don’t know what’s wrong with her, but... it’s serious.” He paused for a moment, clearing his throat. “I think… she’s going to fall into a coma.”

7091771 The first three chapters of my story need completely rewritten. Lol so far chapter 4 is the only chapter I like. It really pulls at my heartstrings. Almost made me cry writing it.
In your description, is 'blaims' a word? Also, I found a few inconsistencies between the first story and this one. I understand that it was from a different author, but some people may find it a distraction. Other than that, it sounds good enough, I'm interested.

I don't know how late I am to this story but given certain developments in the show.... I can guess. First I wanna say this was a grand attempt. May not mean much from someone who just joined the site less than 5 hours ago but still. In any case, I have found quite a few discrepancies between this story and it's predecessor. I know different author but consistency is key in any story, especially a sequel. I wasn't expecting it to be pitch perfect. The story seems to go from scene to scene without any development or build up. Being dialog heavy isn't an issue just as long as there some more meat to it. Set up each scene as you set a tone and pace.
