The nostalgia is strong in this premise.
I like the idea of coming back to an enstablished character or archetype and reconsider it in a new light. Love the introduction of new characters (as main, no less) even though it's going to take me forever to learn their proper names. I liked this chapter and i'll be patiently waiting for the next one.

Also, i like the fact that in what I feared to be a collection of shameless and pointless clop, the opening chapter is entirely devoted to worldbuilding and character caraterization (the importance of which I cannot stress enough). The description has me hoping for narration-driven smut, and for the solid existence of a plot.

There seems to be an, ah, paragraph spacing issue. As such, it's extremely hard to read. Which is a shame since I really, really want to read this story.
Somehow I get the feeling that this was a trap to see if the Night Guard is taking their job seriously. Pay a hooker to go tempt the guard to see if they take the bait. If they do, huge dirt to use against them.
This supposed to be labeled complete? I mean, that's quite the cliffhanger.
