When Twilight Sparkle becomes aware of the newfound existence of seven orbs in Equestria, which, when brought together, will grant anypony three wishes, she reacts in the manner to be expected: extreme panic. Now, she and her friends must journey across the land, searching far and wide for the seven Dragon Balls before those who would abuse their power can get their hooves on them.

Note: This story was written for this contest, which demands any entered story be incomplete. I'm probably never actually going to find the time to write more of this epic tale, and I likely wouldn't have even bothered to start it were it not for the contest, but that doesn't stop this sole chapter from being good for a few quick laughs.

How long do you think it'll take for the Mane Six and Starlight to start fighting over the dragon balls when/if they gather them up? And is someone from the Earth gonna come and pick up the dragon balls cause I know the Elder Kaioshin or Dende for that matter would be aware that the dragon balls were missing from Earth.
Kinda of want to see the Mane Six and friends attend the Universal Tournament.
NOTE: Okay I somehow didn't see your note earlier about this story. BUT I do hope you decide to update this story in the near future. Kinda of what to see Twilight's reaction when she learns how powerful Beerus, Goku and Vegeta are.

You are correct, we took very different approaches here. I don't know if one is necessarily better than the other, but different is very good. Makes it more decisive when we find out who won.
