A lot of time has passed since the last time Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends have had to overtake evil. Without any threats, it's finally time to settle down.
As the ponies go about their lives, Twilight can't help but notice that things are changing. Young ones are growing, long-time goals are being fulfilled, and some ponies are starting to see each other in a new light. Twilight finds herself adjusting to these changes quietly and alone... or she would be alone, were it not for a certain sun-emblazoned book. Twilight is soon to find herself going through the motions as well.
Rated T for swears and some mentions and implications of gross bed things.

I hereby shorten an re-alliterate your name to Muppet. As for the actual review, this seems to have promise (always been a fan of continuations). It also doesn't hurt that it fits my head cannon as well, as I stoped watching in season 3.

Ah, matchmaker Rarity is on the case then. And looks like she'll certainly have a lot to work with, the way things are shaping up. Personally I'm hoping for more Sunset, or maybe to see if the human Rarity has also started to pair up people too. It would be a bit hard for Rarity to ship people across dimensions, she needs some sort of local contact. Looking forward to seeing where things go from here.
More of the PinkieDash. Right now Pinkie would make a lot sense unless you want to have Rarity go through Dash in which case Dash would be a good choice.

I actually preferred her as a villain. It was interesting having a villain with a cause and I am just getting annoyed by having nearly every villain being quickly rehabilitated. Sometimes it is fun having a villain (ask Disney where sometimes the villain is the most interesting character).
7493492 Oh yeah, I also much preferred her as a villain. In her debut, she was one of my favourites the series had produced. Then things got a little weird in Re-mark and she started reminding me of a cross between Trixie and Apple Bloom, except a magical powerhouse. Which isn't a bad thing, I actually think that description is kind of awesome. I just wish she held onto some of the things I liked about her now that she is reformed.
While I agree on the reformation thing, I don't think there was really any other way to go about ending her arc. I mean, with villains, either you banish them, seal them, reform them, or blow them up, and three out of four of those seem a little intense. The only other option would be to keep her around as a reoccurring villain, and I think that not only would that get old after a while, but it would also be kind of implausible. And it wouldn't exactly teach a lesson on the magic of friendship. But it was really poorly executed. She has easily the least convincing 180 in the whole show.
That's what I think, anyway.

Honestly I was not thrilled with Discords either. Granted he is fun to have around so no complaints there but I just did not feel like the episode felt complete. I miss the old Discord but I also enjoy him as he currently is I just wish the episode where he switches sides just felt more complete.

Not sure if Starlght is jealous (in a romantic or friendship way) or I'm reading too much into Starlight's protests over Twilight getting together with Sunset. Anyway, another great chapter, Twilight needs to stop over-working herself. While ponies sharing a bed isn't necessarily romantic, not sure how that will translate to two human girls in the same situation.
I liked Starlight as a villain better too, particularly her first episode. When she suddenly came up with a time travel spell, that's when things started going downhill. Season 6 Starlight is alright, just she gets too much screentime some time. Her and Spike's banter is pretty fun though. Can't wait to see Sunset herself eventually.

Starlight is interesting... I am wondering if it is jealousy, but not of the romantic kind? Having a fillyfriend would take up a lot of Twilight's time. Time she could be spending teaching her!

Well it seems to be a good plot, I like DiamondBloom (or whatever is the shipping's name). But it took long enough to the main plot appear! Don't get me wrong Dashie and Pinkie make a very cute couple and seeing DT and AB growing closer is very interesting... However I want some Sunset Sparkle! If that's not a problem, I mean.
So what is Pinkie going to be doing in the Equestria Girls world? Some are going to college but we do not hear about Pinkie?

It also makes you wonder whether Pinkie and Dash would be similarly interested in each other in the human world or would be weirded out by their pony counterparts in this regard?

Also, Sunset should go back to Equestria, and leave her journal with human Applejack. She's least likely to move far from the portal, could keep in touch with the others, and just in case something happens magicwise (who knows how many exiles Star Swirl kicked to the Human side of the mirror), she can rally the troops and call in SunLight for Orbital Friendship Cannon strikes...
Yay, at long last Sunset appears! And another vote for Sunset to go back to Equestria. And preferably move into Twilight's castle, that place has plenty of room, though Starlight probably won't be happy about that.
Nice to see a couple that's pretty far along, even if neither have said anything out loud yet. I like the EQ world, but if it means more Sunset appearances, would prefer she move back to Equestria. There's always her unresolved business with Princess Celestia too. Though it could be funny to see if the Humane Six relationships are the same as the Mane Six, or rather the differences.
Like most Americans you use "democracy" to describe what is actually a republic. Democracy describes a government where the citizens directly pass the laws. A republic is when citizens elect representatives to pass laws.

It's been a little while since I last visited this story, so I guess I'll share some thoughts about everything after chapter one.
All the PinkieDash chapters? Not a fan. I came to this story for Sunlight and it took way too long to get there. I'm also not huge on Dash shipping in general, but that's a topic for another time.
I'm not seeing how or if any of these plot threads would interact. It begs the question of why these aren't three separate stories within the same universe.
The AB and DT line could be interesting. Again, in another story I'd cheer for it, but I don't want to be left waiting for the reason I started following this story to begin with.
Basically, I want more Sunlight and to see Sunset return to Equestria. I think there is a lot of good story ideas in that possibility.
I honestly can't wait for the next chapter.
