This story is a sequel to Equal Equestria Enlightenment
Taking place 10 years after Starlight's unfortunate demise, the ponies of Our Town are still believing in Equality as the way to true friendship. Unfortunately, without a pony to remove cutie marks, the town is falling apart. Double Diamond has taken up the role of Mayor, but he can't keep the town together. He needs somepony that can remove Cutie Marks, and soon. Loyal to his old leader, he decides to follow through with Starlight's plan: Azure Moon as her replacement. Only a young filly 10 years ago, he must train her to become Starlight's successor. Unfortunately for him, Azure has some questions about methodology and practice.

It is great to see that this story continues again with new characters to bout. But I wander seeing that the story happened ten years after the original story that the CMC are going to play a role in this one seeing that the main character is about their age. I wander if the former Guardpony are still part of Our Town and still be believe it Starlight words, if she is a mater to the cause in their eyes. I am looking forward to see what will happen next.

This was en interesting back story for Double Diamond, I like the idea that he feed distracted by the appearance of his cutie mark during his escape from the creature and he decided to turn the usually positive experience into a bad one. I think it was a good idea for Azure to practice on rock and that the spell itself is not easy to master. I now get it that a ponies magic is directly linked to their cutie, and my be even part of their identity and that the magic potential of a pony is drastically limited if they don't have. I understand that the spell demands a lot of magic that a equal marked unicorn simply can't provide, but what if a large number unicorns actually conducted the spell at the same time, or even better if the Earth Ponies and the Pegasi could also somehow help provide the necessary magic to do it? I would still think that they would need a conductor to do the spell but it is possible. If that was possible then Azure wold have found a way to respect the equalize philosophy of Starlight Glimmer in a way that she couldn't. A wander what happen to Party Favor and Sugar Bell during those ten years.
interesting chapter, we see that Azure moon is learning the basses of how Starlight thoughts and learn how to learn to influence ponies by learning on gathering as much information about them so that she can use it to influence them better in the future. This is done by doing on sight working and to try to commit every details that she can to memory alone. She is learning to pay attention to details to what is around her and use this information to her advantage when she can. I thought it was interesting to she that young ponies are forced to live with other past a certain age, I wander what is the reason for this.
Interesting, Azure was Planing to leave Our Town the first chance she got, that must be a shock for DD; I wander what he will do to keep them there
