Not bad was a pretty hot story

Interesting. But I have one question. Why did you use Pound instead of one of the normally CMC-aged colts?

this was a great read. I liked it.

Can I get the link to the original image you used for the cover art?

I'd imagine either because of the cover image, or because they're always used.

Glitter Shell part was kinda bad. Just not a good name. Also pound and pumpkin could had used more descriptions and personality.

Otherwise pretty good story.

7837576 Pumpkin wasn't even in the story. Also, Glittershell is what the majority of the fandom has agreed to be femboy Snail's name. As for descriptions and personality, this is mostly clop for the sake of clop...I think, so not much use for too many details.

As for me, I'm just happy to see more of this underappreciated category of clopfic: colt-on-colt foalcon.

Glittershell is the fandom-accepted name for transgender-or-femboi Snails. Currently championed by the popular Ask-Glittershell tumblrpon blog. I rather enjoy the comic.

Snails? I would of never guess to see him in another clopfic again since people forgotten his existence.

I would guess that because the list of CMCaged colts is very very very small.

Are you say that if you were dating her and by some magical mishap she ends up turned into a colt... would you really be so cruel as to abandon her? Just because of a trivial issue regarding gender?

Gender isn't trivial, love isn't in a vacuum, separate from the flesh, it is intertwined with it to it's core.

Suppose the exact opposite happened and you were turned into a filly, would it be fair for her to simply dump you just because she wasn't lesbian?

Yes, and most people would agree.

Otherwise great and hot fic.

I look forward to reading this for the contest. Best of luck to you. :)

Derpibooru image 1088720. It is (anthro) foalcon, so it is against the rules to link directly.

Not really, relationships are equal partnerships, give and take. If one is willing to work through a certain hardship concerning their partner then the other should be willing to try as well.

Good read.
Could use an editor I did come across a few errors and the climax scene could be a bit more descriptive just a bit. Other than that it's a great read and added to fav.

The way you put it, people can't love each other unless they're sexually attracted to one another or sexually active. Which is literally not true and are there numerous examples of this not being the case.

Gender/sex/whichever happens to be the case, CAN BE trivial. It depends on the people involved. That you steadfastly say it IS important no matter what means that everyone who has a different/more experience than you apparently doesn't exist. Hello from non-existence land, population: more people than you'll ever meet in your life. Sweeping generalizations backed up with a 'most people will agree with me' not taking into account that most people are fairly ignorant of anything that falls outside what they were told and taught during their formative years.

Love's only as strong as the people feeling it. If you'd let go of someone for something like that then either you and your love are weak, or you might have just been placing too much attention on your lusts for their body. The latter is perfectly acceptable but don't call it love and then complain at what love means for other people.

countering generalizations with generalizations, hilarious

Besides the grammar being on the weak side, I'm also inclined to say the premise is also a little weak. I wish I could put it into words, but I just couldn't get into this.

7839437

I could see this being the case for a long standing marriage, maybe.

But mutual physical attraction is the basis for pretty much all romantic relationships. There are always outliers, sure, but by and large this is the reality, and there's nothing wrong with it.

So the way that snails tries to act as if it would be wrong or selfish for button to not be interested romantically in someone he wasn't physically attracted to is silly.

7840919
It would be selfish considering he'd be expecting Sweetie Belle to commit in a way he wasn't willing to.

He was petty surprised that Pound suggested he go to Snails and Pound Cake of all ponies, but Rumble assured him that they were surprisingly knowledgeable about these sorts of things.

Did you mean to say that he was surprised that 'Rumble' Suggested.......

Was a nice story.
got a chuckle at the later dialog in the text.
fun times.
now for a few things ya might of missed

---
Pretend Sweetie as small piece of hard candy in her mouth
---
only you love for the pony before you..."
--
Glitter observed is stallion-hood,
--
All this was making Button's heart was pounding hard in his chest
--
Sweetie groaned as she Button's cum shot
--
nuzzle as casually levitated

nice clop, not much for male on male clop but I liked it, it was well written, good work

HOW THE FUCK DOES A GIRL HAVE A COCK!!!

I'm sorry but I had to stop. Kids of this age do not have this type of philosophy.

"Are you say that if you were dating her and by some magical mishap she ends up turned into a colt... would you really be so cruel as to abandon her? Just because of a trivial issue regarding gender?"

That totally depends on how long I have been dating her. If I'm just starting to date her and she becomes a colt, hell yeah I would dump her.

"Suppose the exact opposite happened and you were turned into a filly, would it be fair for her to simply dump you just because she wasn't lesbian?"

If I got genderswapped, my girlfriend would be the LEAST of my worries.

remember one thing: gender does not matter

I call BS on that. It doesn't matter ONLY if you have no intention of having your own kids. Sure, you could adopt but no you know how hard it is for same sex couples to adopt?

I know this is clop for clop's sake, but I'm not going to read it if I can't get through the set up.

8258849
You don't see that as the least bit heartless? Especially if said person would be willing to go through that kind of hardship for you if the situation was reversed?

8259061
If it happened in reverse, if she didn't dump me, I would have dumped her. I would feel she deserves better. She entered the relationship with a male, she should continue to be with a male. not me after I turned into a female.

8259144
And what if she didn't want "better"? What if she was open-minded enough to at least give it a shot? Doesn't she deserve the same courtesy then?

8259149 Then shame on her.:facehoof:

8259156
That's a very shallow minded way of looking at it. So she should be ashamed that she's willing to be with you even if there was a gender change involved?

8259170 As well as delusional.

8259178
I feel sorry for whatever girl falls for a self-centered narrow-minded guy like you.

"Oh hi Button!" Snails said in a surprisingly feminine tone, one that wouldn't be out of place coming from Silver Spoon. "I'm so glad you could make it!"

Given that Snails is at least marginally a friend of Diamond Tiara's and Silver Spoon's, Glittershell may very well have modeled her voice on Spoony's.

I'm not sure Glittershell is this articulate and confident. On the other hand, this obviously takes place a decade or more in the future (Pound Cake is at least in his/her teens) which would put Glittershell and Button Mash in their twenties. Glittershell's not brilliant, but she tends to eventually reach sound conclusions, and a twenty-something year old Glittershell would be more self-confident.

I'm not sure what I think of Glittershell arguing that "gender doesn't matter." A lot of Glittershell's motivation in Coming out of your shell (the original tumbler blog) and in my version of the character (Fools and Drunks) is that Glittershell is the filly (or mare) inside Snails, psychologically speaking, and wants to be emerge as a female. A lot of her problems stem from this -- very specifically in this case, that Glittershell is attracted to males rather than females.

In both continuities Rarity and Sweetie Belle are two of the mares Glittershell trusts with her secret and deeply admires; Sweetie Belle is probably Glittershell's best friend after Snips. Even a twenty-something Glittershell would probably be uncomfortable trying to seduce a stallion whom Sweetie Belle really liked, as this could cause friction between herself and one of her best friends.

"Good... now, close your eyes and relax..." Pound cooed, wrapping his wings around Button as Glitter's aura dissipated. "Imagine Sweetie Belle, as a colt, ready to kiss you..."

This is perhaps not so much gender-bending as gender-pretzeling. :rainbowlaugh:

8259156

And what if she didn't want "better"? What if she was open-minded enough to at least give it a shot? Doesn't she deserve the same courtesy then?

A better way to put it is that she does not want "better," she wants "you."

Then shame on her.:facehoof:

Shame on the woman that loves you, that statement is very telling. Though lying about one's sex is an issue when trying to enter a relationship and I can not condole it.
