Shortly after Sonata tells the Rainbooms about their father Adagio has become restless. She has frequent nightmares and is madly working on a school project unaware she's being affected by her sisters tale.
She jumps at the sound of loud noses and is afraid of shadows. Everyone notices the change in her behavior. At the top of the worry list is Rainbow, Adagios now girlfriend. Everyone's worried about her newly, and worsening, paranoia as they try to unravel what has the siren on edge news of monster attacks across the globe had everyone in a panic. Adagio knows times ticking and she fears what the end will hold for her when her father finds her.

I really don't see why people are disliking this. The flow is good and the plot is clear. I just think you have to fix the pacing of the story- find a way to keep them on the story.
I myself would assume that the dislikes are here because there is no conflict yet. I mean, sure there's the search for Godszilla or the presentation. but no conflict that really stood out. Following that, I'm also assuming some dislikes would arise from the uninterest (is that even a word?) from the topic/plot.
I'm not all too interested in godzilla myself, the only thing that caught my attention was that Vinyl/Octavia ship and Rainbow/Adagio one. (lol because personal preference) but if I liked the topic, then I definitely would love your story. :)

Yeah I admit the pacing is not as good as my first one. Although I do plan on taking it easier then next chapter. And the romance part is fine too, BUT I won't focus mainly on the romance part. It will be there though so don't be discouraged.

Besides they both like to take charge, they're both competitive to the extreme, and in my head canon (WARNING HEAD CANON FIRING!) both are loyal to their friends/families. It makes them perfect to me. Mind you this s AU we're talking about here so personalities may differ .

Not sure if I need to see the movie to understand everything that is going to happen, I´m somehow kind of wary about some Mlp epispdes, and even if I kind of liked the second movie..., I think I prefer the episodes.
I think what I never really liked, the way they could transform even without Twilight and her magic, and I bet they got another transformation in the third movie right?
I accidently posted this comment earlier than I wanted, but now I can take a break. So far I like it, I haven´t seen anything that was really interessting for me yet, but I liked it. I think I would have a different reaction If I would know the prequel, and because of that I only judge it after I have read the other sequel, and see more from this story.

aahhhh there´s the first interesting fact.
I like it if people try to write their storys with a bit of psychology stuff. That it looks like Adadgio could not do much about it without a lot of work, makes it interessting f you know what I mean. I have work today, maybe I can stay there if I´m good enough in their eyes, so I don´t look much at the quality of my comment right now.

7006007 I really don´t know why, but ince the recycled Villain Tirek, and the bad story I started to know him, somehow the Season 5 wasn´t my favourite, and I don´t like the Prince Charming Armor, and Disney Cadance, at least not in the show itself that much (even if I still somehow avoid a part of that episode) That exatly them had to get an Alicorn was a bit overdone in my prejudice loaded opinion on her. (Yes I feel like that shouldn´t make me feel that way since I don´t even know that MC Flurry yet.
What I mean is, it wouldn´t be easy to have it start with them, but I hope that season can stop my wary feeling about new episodes, that I got the way I started to hear about Tirek and what was desscribed in the story as a Dragon Ball fight.

I like this story, sometimes if I feel like the informations aren´t needed yet, I read it a bit faster (the part with the Wonderbolt army), but I still took notice of it, and I have a feeling they are after either "that thing", or "Adagios father".

7052731 I have to admit my feelings on the amount of alicorns in the series has been... I can't think of a word to describe it, but I think disheartened would be the closest. In truth I feel alicorns have lost their, "Feel" as we say in America.
Before alicorns were these majestic creatures of great power. When the introduced Cadence, (Nice nickname by the way, Disney Cadence) I felt that here was a huge gap to how alicorns came to be. Twilight's ascension was the best explanation I had ever heard since that point, but with the birth of Flurry Heart or whatever it's name is, it expands on the notion that alicorns can be born by natural means as well as magical.
Here's to Trixie and may she too one day join the ranks of alicorn hood.

Because of that I still sort of hope for Adagio to spend a day in her Siren form should they get a calm moment, and do what they want to do, maybe they rent a house on tsome sort of private beach.
