Sorry for not responding sooner, Iceborn has taken hold of me. No, I actually do not watch Jo Jo. (Although I've considered watching the early seasons since they look more interesting to me then the new ones.) The breathing technique and attacks are a combination of inspiration from Demon Slayer and Armed Girls Machiavellism . Both great animes. This being said, his power is not common in this stories world. Everyone uses their power and individual fighting styles differently. Hope that helps with the perception of his attacks.
