Didn't read the story. Saw the pic of Excalibur and decided to check comments. Saw a few, like this, regarding the sex of the Warframes. That technically doesn't matter. That was just how the ORIGINAL was designed. When you use a Warframe, you are just using a copy of it. You aren't using the original Rakta Ballistica, or the original Despair, or the original Limbo (SPOILER: you learn he got ripped to pieces in the quest to get him). I would go into why the gender of the 'Frame matters not at all to the operator (in Warframe lore, at least... which is contradicting at points. Like Mirage. Second Dream made Mirage... a lie), but I don't want to spoil Second Dream (aka, the main story) for anybody that hasn't done it (but if you play Warframe and haven't done it, do it. Free weapon (with slot and potato) as well as a new... feature.)
I guess I don't know how the author is doing it (I'll fav it and read it when I get some time), but assuming the the Tenno is just modifying the 'Frames to work for the ponies, assuming they are using it like an exosuit, the gender of the original Warframe wouldn't matter due to the fact that they are already modifying the suit to fit a pony. I see no reason why a female pony couldn't use a 'Frame that was originally designed male.

I think Banshee would be great for Rarity. I mean, she is sound based and Rarity likes to whine... Or Nyx because she is able to get ponies to do what she wants. Atlas because of Tom... and gems.
And I also think Loki would be a good choice for Pinkie (but fitting for RD). Loki can cause a lot of chaos on a battlefield. He can turn invisible and walk right in. He can create a clone. He can (seemingly) randomly teleport you. He can take your weapon from you (and make you attack your pals, assuming Irradiating Disarm is on). Though, Mirage is pink and a jester/prankster ("Mysterious and mischievous, Mirage manipulates the spectrum of light to dazzle her foes. With deceitful mirror images, colorful photokinetic displays and explosive pranks up her sleeves, every battlefield becomes the stage for her next performance." -in game description). She has her group of clones that follow her, the light/dark damage modifier, the Deathscoball (probably part of the reason you suggest her), and trapping everything (which makes most stuff explode, like little confetti blasts). Both would be good for her. Maybe even let her play with both (god knows I don't use just one 'Frame. I have 22 and jump between them all)
Also, no clue what you have Fluttershy as, but Oberon. Plain and simple. He is based around a Paladin/Druid, he looks like a deer. He can heal and deal. Though... Equinox has two sides: support and attack. Like when Fluttershy gets all Flutterpissed. Yeah, I should probably read it then I could actually give some constructive criticism. YAY HORSEWORDS
It is taking EVERYTHING I HAVE not to do an edit of your story and I just gave in I will. Regardless (I ain't doing it tonight. Work in 6 hours), this should be less explainy. Make him check them all. Like a diagnostics check. Though, I hate first-person past-tense. I mean, it is the person telling a story. Maybe that is how they would tell it? At the same time, you have to balance that with... readablitiy, I guess (I mean, imagine if the character was hardcore hillbilly and had that heavy accent that makes it hard to understand. It would be hard to read a story if EVERYTHING was like that. You would want to find a balance. Maybe have more thoughts mixed in. Something).
Impressive HUD, I thought as I checked the radar on the left, seeing the outline of the Castle of the Royal Sister. Eight light-blue dots pulsed near the center. Checking the bottom right, I see the outlines of the bow, pistol, and sword I asked for. (1) Now, I hadn't played the game in a while, and had forgotten them when I spoke with Celestia, but I saw them right beneath each outline; Paris, Lato, and Skana, respectively. (2) I wonder if my color scheme is that of my in-game one
1- in regards to this, I would suggest adding Celestia saying something about not knowing what he was referring to and having to access his memories to learn
2 - I don't know if these are right (I know they are MK-1, but whatever). I know one option for melee is Bo and Kunai are the secondary. Skana and Lato were both original starters, but Paris wasn't. It was the MK-1 Braton (the OG MK-1). Can't say about the new starters for certain. I skipped the quest when they added it.

Yes and no. He can cap at 860 currently using Redirection and Vigor, which would explain the bonus health (which would only be 420). HOWEVER, he could be using PRIMED Vigor, which would bring his shields to 960 and health to 520 (yes, I know Primed Vigor isn't attainable yet). Numbers are still off, but I figured I would remind you of Vigor.
6991101 Don't use vigor often so it spaced my mind entirely. I have and always will see equinox as female frame. Others would say differently, but she has been referred to as a her by the devs. If anything Flutters would be best as Trinity, she has NO offensive abilities and flutters couldn't hurt a fly. And I doubt the legitimacy of a primed vigor, since it is a dual mod, and I am yet to see a dual mod, and it is only obtainable via nightmare mode. But yeah his plane is to make the mane six (I think) into Tenno. Its just seems logical to have them be female frames, but the suit adaption to them is logical so options are endless. Early on in warframe there was a cinematic diorama that had at least two female Excalibur frames with different abilities.
Name of the fourth ability he used is called Exalted Blade not Etheric Blade. This is good wont lie, but some knowledge about how the game works would be better. There are a lot of things, some universal, like movement, others small, like the names of abilities.

6993490 Zephyr is practically a no brainer, Mag makes a lot of sense, Equinox is good, or since AJ is a country girl Mesa based of a western gunslinger, I suggest Trinity for Fluttershy, As for Pinkie and Rarity. Mirage is a good choice for Pinkie, Rarity, with the Saryn Orphid skin, because that skin in game is beautiful.
still think Valkir is a better choice for AJ but hey its your story man.

I honestly recommend Trinity, sure Fluttershy gets angry, but she couldn't live with herself if she hurt or killed anything. It just seems logical.
Fluttershy would make a great Trinity, Trinity is basically a perfect healer class with Well of life you stun an enemy and as damage is inflicted it heals the one doing damage, then Energy Vampire which keeps everyone topped off on energy which is EXTREMELY useful, then we have link which disperses most damage done to Trinity to nearby enemy's, and finally the best ability Blessing which is an unlimited range full shield and full health heal coupled by limited invulnerability, this frame is perfect for Fluttershy. Valkyr is all wrath and while Fluttershy is able to get VERY angry I don't think she has it in her to pull off the level of rage Valkyr would require.
I think Pinkie would be more suitable (see what I did there?) for Valkyr. Valkyr's Hysteria =
